Thank you for making this! It can be discouraging to see a bunch of videos that only depict large spaces for the nursery. That much space is not in the cards for us right now, so it is nice to see that it's possible to do with less and still enjoy it just as much :)

Aw I’m absolutely inspired by this! The simplicity is amazing. TheLess is more approach to motherhood is the way to go but at the moment with my 4th baby due in May I’m struggling a bit not to go too crazy as it’s my first girl. This reminds me that I don’t need all the extra ‘stuff’

I love this! We only have two bedrooms and my son has his own space (he’s 9 years old) and our bedroom isn’t the biggest so I’m having a really hard time trying to figure out what to do and where to put things and arrange them in a practical and functional and yet pretty way. @@theearthherself Due to the lack of space, we just ended up putting our Maxi-Cosi Iora co-sleeper on my side of the bed and drawers to put her clothes. The co-sleeper has a big mesh basket underneath so that’s what I use to put in her diapers, wipes, etc. We live in a rental appartement so we’re not really allowed to drill holes and everything to really make the space fit our needs 🥲

Babies end up sleeping in your room most of the time lol. Running up and down for a week to another room suddenly gave us the energy to drag the cot to our room. One night, I took our son out of the cot to change him and he fell asleep horizontal on the bed. I ended up sleeping in the cot and my husband couldn't stop laughing at me for days haha

@@theearthherself I think it came out just fine! She and I share a closet, and her dresser/changing table fits right beside my side of the bed. So she takes up very little space in the bedroom. I also set up our formal dining room that we don’t use as a media/play area for her and my older children. I have the glider, nursing cart, a low cabinet thing (I’m terrible with names of furniture pieces) for her books and toys, and when she becomes mobile I’ll be able to get an extended baby gate to make sure she doesn’t crawl into the kitchen. Thank you for checking back with me. I truly appreciate it! And yes, baby girl (Mila) will be 4 months on Aug. 3rd! 🥰

It is so cute, I love all the little details you added for love and for function. Curious do you diaper change on the bed, I see a change pillow tucked in there? Also with cloth diapers how do you organise that in the small space (ie, laundry) I didn’t see anything for trash or whatnot but I love the idea of making the space in your bedroom like this

Thank you 🥹 Yes, I did all the diaper changing on bed and used the change pillow to protect our bed :) I used a waterproof diaper laundry bag that I would hang near our bed. Every 2-3 days I would put all the diapers and the laundry bag itself in the wash. ❤

@@theearthherself yup. I wish i could make a video. My little space is much simple n his clothes and stuff is kept inside my small wardrobe section and bedside table. But only diaper basket is hung on the wall above baby cot and one basket on the bedside table which has all baby essentials. We are sorted🙂 and yes one cherry blossom branch sticker above the baby cot which adds beauty to the nursery.🥰 all his next month clothes are in another room wardrobe which makes our room clutter free.

I keep most of my clothes in there but I do have another space for my clothes in another area. I would say what you saw is where half of my clothes is.
