Absolutely true story. When this song first came out, my mother would listen to it _literally_ every single time it came on the radio. Then, one morning, she hears it again, and immediately orders me to turn up the radio. "That's the song I like! The one sung by...Jan and Dean." It took me five minutes to explain her mistake to her. Because for the first four minutes and fifty-nine seconds, I was laughing my head off over the mental image of the real Jan and Dean singing this song!
@TheMooseisloose48 - May be able to find it by going to the Chas and Dave website, but I had to get this from America, as I could never find it in England, and wanted it for my Mums funeral music a few years ago.
