When I was on my knees with 4 children and my husband left taking all my life savings I was hungry with no money to do anything. I had a lightbulb moment. TAKE YOUR EYES 👀 OFF YOURSELF AND FOCUS ON OTHERS. I started to take my kids to a park where old people sit each day. They sit hoping someone will talk to them. I talked every day and learned a lot of wisdom. My days felt lighter. This lead me to seeing new directions. I now have an international Buisness with people from all walks of life. I LOVE ❤️ what life taught me. Im still learning and love CHASE ❤️ I have a saying ‘grit in the oyster 🦪 makes a pearl’

Chase is like a kindred spirit to me. I retired from the Navy in Virginia Beach as well. However, I retired in 1997. Also during my stay in Virginia Beach I was very interested in behavioral technologies. There were a number of people in the Virginia Beach area that I associated with that were into NLP and other behavioral technologies. Just purchased one of Chase’s books. So far I’m impressed. I’ve also been impressed with what I’ve seen of him on RU-vid. I think he’s masterful in his field of expertise. He also appears to be a genuine authentic good human being.

Amazing, my Dad NLP Hypnotherapist and me 2 years, practitioner and then master track. Chase almost tops NLP, better yet compliments NLP. I just learned so much here and from "How to set goals with brainwashing" by Chase. Today was my Chase Hughes day and love this host. Thanks to you for being a part of the comments!

Primed to authority…. There were some school teachers bullying my son. They tried to intimidate me to dismiss my complaints. I made an appointment and attended wearing a red jacket, red shoes 👠 and red lipstick 💄. I smiled the biggest smile and opened my pre prepared 📝 notes. The bullies who thought they were in authority had planned to run 🏃‍♀️ rings around me. They didn’t succeed 😀

This is one of the most fascinating conversations I’ve listened to in a long time. Thank you both for doing this and putting up this podcast! I’m a Chase Hughes follower now. (Not arbitrarily submitting to authority 😆) Also, love the learning placemat shout-out! Those things are awesome! I'd totally forgotten about them from my childhood and I'm ordering some for my kids today!

I loved the self discipline advice. I have been working on this lately and really needed to hear that in order to take it to the next level. Love it! Also, it looks like many of your listeners are women; you may want to take that into consideration. Clearly the subject matter appealed to the feminine gender as well.

I began studying Chase and his ways/teachings about a month ago (him alone not TBP). It took hearing from him, a handful of times, to clean up your act by cleaning up your residence before I got motivated enough to do it. I went from, before this for maybe a month, spending 30-60 minutes a day cleaning, to 4-5 hours a day incl. outside errands that need to get done.

I'm really interested in learning why teenagers fight authority so much, when it is proven that obeying authority is in-born, or genetic, or however Chase describes it. It boggles my mind. I have 3 kids, the youngest 16, and without fail, all 3 have pushed so hard against "conforming" and anything at all that resembles authority.

Many teens become rebels when there is inequity when authority’s rules does not match authority’s behavior. Also preferential treatment of the kids for better or worse.

My boss told me I “move and walk” without a sense of urgency. She’s extremely peppy and energetic by nature and I am calm (but confident). Will some people view moving more slowly as no sense of urgency/purpose? (Her comment really frustrated me because I feel the need to move more phonetically at work for her to think I’m engaged.)

Strangers may tend to divulge more to another stranger. I might! The BEST type of stranger would be a therapist though. Someone that you pay to listen and give feedback. That relationship is clearly defined. They want your business, and you just want them to listen, and not go for coffee. I've always had regrets sharing with co-workers or 'friends' that have no vested interest in my health and well-being, and come to find out that we were not really 'friends' after all. You never know who really has it out for you. I do tend to think that those who remain 'quiet' around me for long periods of time, are not friends and just gathering information that they will use against me if they can. Nothing can hurt Unless...they have some type of power over you and your position.

My dad taught me that when you forget someone’s name and your reintroduced to them and you exchange some dialogue over a minute or so you say with curiosity, how do you spell your name ? They say “susan” (their name). You then say no “susan” not your first name your last name. It works every time.

Ok the thing I have never understood, is when people ask what women want. Because surely everyone is different, so if you prepare a script, that script might be great for person A, but for person B it might leave them stone cold, person C might think it weird that they prepared a script in the first place. Or if you try to be romantic, but the person prefers to be comical, it's less likely to work, just like if a person uses comical but they prefer romantic. Or if you go on a date but the man chooses the film, and they go for a horror, but the girl prefers Rom Com she is less likely to not enjoy herself. Partly why I don't like dates.

One of my daily mantras of Being Present in all I do has taken on even more meaning after listening to this. Chase Hughes, the trainer of REAL Jason Bournes, is my favorite of all The Behavior Panel experts. The statements statement now makes me understand police interrogations too I watch…they ask ?’s but they make a whole lot of statements. My BFF, an attorney, also makes statements a great deal …not just in trials but in general comms daily…now I get it. 😃
