🌯 I agree that getting both is the most optimal strategy, especially with the SUBs on these cards ending soon. Just gotta watch out for the 5/24 and 1/30 rules!

I've gotten three Ink Cash cards in the past six months all using my SSN. 90k*3 = 270k from bonuses. Entire spend requirement at Office Depot when running Visa and Mastercard gift card promos. 6k*5 = 30k; 30k*3 = 90k from spend. 360k UR points as a sole prop in around 7 months. Using the gift cards to prepay rent, utilities, insurances, subscriptions, etc. THE card to have imo.

so you bought a bunch of gift cards from office depot and those all count toward your welcome bonus spend? I almost thought that wouldn't be allowed. Isn't there a fee to activate those gift cards? I'm interested in doing this...

Doesn’t Chase balk at manufactured spending? Buying gift cards like that seems like playing with fire, and asking Chase to shut you down.

I’m always here to support my boi Sebby🌯. I’m $75 away from getting the 90k bonus on the Ink Cash with over a month to go to meet the spend requirements. I was thinking about getting the Ink Unlimited before the 90k bonus ends but I really can’t justify another $6k in spend right now but I’m thankful that I was under 5/24 and was able to take advantage of the welcome bonus for the Ink Cash.

🌯 I was able to apply a day before the 90K offered expired, been eyeing this card for like 12 months waiting on 5/24. The plan is to apply and hit the bonus on all 3, just have to space them out according to projected spend.

I gardened for a while to get below 5/24 with the intent of going for the CSP. Since the CIU and CIC don't affect 5/24, though, I went for those first and then got the CSP. I earned nearly 300K Chase points last year just by getting that strategy right.

@@alexthai5223 in credit cards terms, gardening is when you intentionally let your open accounts get older and don’t apply for any new personal credit. The goal is to not have your number of accounts increase on your personal credit and this is usually done so people can get approved for a credit product down the road from a bank such as Chase that has rules about how many new accounts you can have and still be approved for an account with them.

Curious, If you have an existing Chase Unlimited personal why would you apply for Ink Unlimited? 1.5x on personal card for catch all. Ink Cash has the 5% office supply store category which is gold.

Loved Ink cash and got approved back on December 2022 with little bit under 3k CL but recently just requested for an increased and chase just gave me another 6k. Lol of course, I’ve made it to 6k spending with 45 days, of course chase does wanted my business. Overall it is a great cards with a lot upside of perks within those 5% categories but the only downside it would capped up to 25k per years. Which it is too little for my spending habits😂

I want to apply for both ink business cards and my plan is to get the ink cash in the summer since I’ll be out of the 5/24 by then, but I was wondering if I could apply for a different business card before the summer comes. I got a letter in the mail for the Bank of America Business Advantage Unlimited Card and also have an offer on my online account for it. Just was wondering if I apply for this card as it’ll be my first business card, if it will affect my chances of getting one of the ink cards after I fall out of the 5/24 by July? I am someone who would love to get as many cards as possible, but if it is too much or I should hold off on it I will, but just wanted to see what your opinion was for it.
