The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain was such a prominent memory of a game I played endlessly while growing up, and was part of a whole series. There's so many cool puzzles, the writing and humor is genuinely charming, and all the games are honestly very well made. It's a shame the audio was getting cut off, I'd totally watch an entire playthrough of the whole Dr. Brain series!

I have vague memories of playing Dr. Brain in fifth grade, and I fell down a rabbit hole trying to play it again... had to install a VM and basically setup an entire computer to get it to work. I'll have to go back a give it another go.

yeah when that intro happened, I got hit in the brain with memories of playing it. well, I don't think I ever played the full game. When I was a child, I had this disc that had all these game demos on it, and I'm pretty sure this game was one of them. Barely remember anything about the puzzles. Just that intro and the opening scene. I would just play the demos over and over again, without asking my parents to get me and of full games

Seriously. I have never played them, but I know the Nancy Drew games have a decent sized cult following. Probably the only legitimately decent game, and he instantly quit 😂
