Fun fact: My Disney Kitchen was developed by Atlus. Yes- the same Atlus known for the Persona series! They even published it themselves in Japan. (Also flashbacks to ProtonJon playing it on his stream)

Me and my twin sister loved hexing different coat patterns on our Dogz and Catz! My favorite breeds were the American Shorthair and the Turkish Van! One of my American Shorthairs was a two-time best in show winner and one of the kittens from a litter of Turkish Vans won best in show once as well. This was on the PKC (Petz Kennel Club) site, which has sadly been down for a long time now as the moderators are updating it. Hopefully soon my sister and I can hex and show Petz again!

13:35 I did play this whole game as a youngling. Basically, MM and BB keep finding new shit for Spongeboi to do in order to keep him out of their hair, sending him all over, even into the past. The Flying Dutchman is the final boss, and he scared the crap out of me.

That "bad ending" for the Scooby-Doo game where the gang goes missing would be a fun premise for a true Scooby-Doo horror game. I'm thinking something like Resident Evil 7 but with a Scooby-Doo theme where the gang disappeared during one of their investigations because they were captured and infected or transformed into monsters by whoever they were investigating, and you as Scrappy-Doo (yes, really. I did say it was a "true" horror game, did I not?) have to find each member and figure out how to restore them to their original selves.

Man, that SuperSponge game is so nostalgic for me. I remember that I would play it on my cousin's PlayStation whenever we'd go visit her house, and even though the controls and overall design were ass, I was just thrilled to be playing a game based around my favorite TV series. :D

You played one of my childhood games Dogz 4.. I feel blessed on this fine day. But yeah they do got fat donkers and idk why but that game taught me how to do basic hexidecimal coding. The dog/cat models are comprised of 'ballz' and idk man it's an interesting choice cuz it just gives em big ol' butts. I have it installed still and sometimes play it lmao for memories.

The earlier Petz games were actually really good, and had a large fanbase that went as far as making mods and custom software to modify and add animals. When we were kids, my brother and I had a lot of fun with Petz 5. Unfortunately the fandom died due to either Microsoft or EA (can't remember which) buying the license for it and turning it into absolute dog shit

I still have "Scooby Doo and the mystery of the Fun Park Phantom". The original CD got lost, but a miracle occurred by finding all of the files on my old 98 and burned it onto a new blank CD, restoring the experience. I plan to give it to my kids down the road when they get old enough to use a computer.

I played the Catz version as a child. As someone who was obsessed with cats from infancy basically, I was not creeped out by how ugly the character models looked like. Also, if iirc, you could have the cat/dog/animal stay on your computer desktop when you weren't directly playing the game, and it would chase your computer mouse around? I could be totally imagining that though.

Omg, I'm so stoked you played Dogz4. That series was a huge part of my childhood. Please play more. Or on the other hand, try out Wobbledogs on steam. Wobbledogs is like a modern version of Dogz, but with alien dogs that mutate as you feed them. I honestly think you'd get a kick out of it X'D
