If you dont have a pressure cooker then use corn over rice. Rice often goes rotten before the mycelium can colonize.

At the minimum you should spend good money on a nice pressure cooker everything else you could play with easier but 3 months ago so if you stayed tru you might have some mushrooms growing already

I'm using the handle of those mini bristle scrubbers on the wire handle that has a loop on the end of it.

24 gauge kanthal vape wire. Smaller would be too flexible, larger would be more difficult to work with. Hell, if you want to get real fancy, I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to run a long coil off your vape and make a self-sterilizing inoculation loop!

I was thinking that this whole video. I used to be a supernerd about vaping and built coils for atomizers. It would be easy with electrical parts but I have plenty of old mechanical mods that I could literally just use with a dripper attached lmao Edit: it would be like a lightsaber for mycology. This is happening

Stainless steel wire 0.9mm clamp one end in a vice around a small drill bit, then put other end in your drill chuck and pull the trigger ,1000s inoculation loops As long as you want and no sticky tape for bacteria to stick too for £5- $6-7.

An easier method thats also easier to sterilize effectively might be to find a large sewing needle, stick it into the end of a brush handle or something and open the eye a bit more

I use both still, cups for easy spawning of clean culture, and petris for isolation work
