Battery powered heated clothing is very popular amongst anglers at the moment trying to stay warm through the winter, but it usually costs big money to stay warm. Can a £20 knock off from Ebay match it??
f0r me id have worn it under a fleece , next to t shirt for two reasons , one its nearer the body ,two your fleece over it would hold the heat in better
I'm normally 3XL and bought a 6XL to ensure it covers my usual Damart (grade 5) thermal vest and my Spar staff freezer fleece. Not tried it on whilst wearing those yet but seemed it would be just right although may need to discard the fishing waistcoat in favour of a small shoulder bag to carry my bits and bobs (forceps, styptic pencil, smartphone remote, shot, etc). Did find my USB 500000mAh power pack wasn't up to the job (faulty/dead and now binned) nor did my handwarmer/power packs hold enough charge to operate it BUT I did obtain a new 20000mAh one from Argos (£30) which I have had running, bwhilst on a coat hanger, on the blue setting (coolest?) for 12 hours and was still going strong.....😊😊 BTW mine is a £50 from Amazon jobbie and has separate heat controls (buttons) for full front and full back heating.....
Hey harry golder match angling so you say you have one of these heated USB chargeable jackets or vests or which ever but my question is have you worn it outside eather really early in the morning or really late at night wen it was possibly really cold and if so how did it work did it warm you up completely or just a lil bit pleas let me no okay so il no if il want to buy one or not
I used something identical last winter it was brilliant like you I found sizing very silly certainly go two sizes bigger very warm under your fishing coat or wind proof hoodie still going strong this winter £20 can’t go wrong
The truth is brands overcharge. And it's not ok. We should have good products for normal prices, not either okeish or good but expensive or cheaply made but cheap.
Bought one gilet like it, a thermo fusion brand one from ideal world and it didn't last me one year. Problem was the wires connecting the power button came off. Bought a new power button from ali express hoping I could fix it to no avail as the wIres were so flimsy so ended up throwing the gilet in the bin. Would never buy one again especially as most of what I see are cheaply made in china. They are great n warm when they working tho.
I paid £15 from ebay with free postage and packing and I'm XL but had to get a XXXL and even that was small so I told the seller and he said it would cost to much to send back so he gave me half my money back
They are all from different sellers, all very similar products. Like anything from China that's a copy, it's hit and miss, sizes, actually working etc... Like I said, I was slightly surprised mine worked. It's still working too.
