Not bad for 100. This is my favorite Carcano. They are a very handy carbine. Kind of handle like a M1 carbine. If I had soft point ammo for it, I would use mine, unmodified of course, as a hunting rifle. I hesitate to say it, but if you removed the bayonet and maybe put a slip-on recoil pad over the missing butt plate, you would have a great brush gun for deer. And it wouldn't be modified to a point it couldn't be easily put back as it was. Just put the bayonet back on.

Now if we could just get PPU to ship a container full of ammo for these rifles we'd be in business

I picked up 3 of these from classic firearms. They were in great shape. I was able to find 2 boxes of ammo and they shot great.

I hit the lottery with the b grade $99 rifle I got last week. It's a complete 1941 dated and in just as good condition as the $250 rifle I bought from the first batch that came in the country a few years ago. It had a light coat of surface rust that cleaned up with oil and .0000 steel wool.

I got one to use as a parts gun. The one i got was complete but completly covered in mold. Is a 1942 FNA Bresica. I guess i got lucky. Axis arms has new production handguards for 24.99 and the butplate for 19.99.

I buy one everytime they go on sale for 139$. Theyve all been outstanding condition. Bought one from dk and it was about the same but more money. I did ask for a ww1 or earlier date and they sent me a 1914. But i wouldhighly recommend the 139$ sale priced VG to excellent condition ones

The stamps on the stock are inspectors stamps and refurbishment cartouches

Maryland Milsurps here. Disappointed to see the quality you recieved vs. the three I got. I've noticed a trend where those who ordered 3 or more tended to get decent examples vs. those with 2 or less. You're the first I've seen to buck that trend. Hopefully you can source the parts.

Dang! I cant believe I missed these. Even if they were not the best, its always good to have spare parts around. Nice video as always.

Man that sucks. Mine was minty. Only issue was missing bayonet screw/button which I already bought off eBay. The bayonet was loose wrapped in the bubbles. Wood is perfect too. But hey at least you got ammo which I do not lol

I got mine when they were $140. It was missing the upper handguard, the bayonet hardware, the barrel band screw, and there is a nasty crack in the stock. I was not able to find original parts but I was able to reproduction parts on eBay for very reasonable prices. The metal finish was good, bore is mint. Even with 123gr PPU ammo known for being inaccurate the rifle grouped well at 50yds Only issue is ammo. 6.5x52 used to be $1.25+/- per round for a long time. With all these Carcanos being imported for so cheap it shot up to $2/rd. Now it's completely unavailable except GunBroker scalpers asking $3-4/rd

Lee Oswald's grade A Carcano only cost $12 in 1960, and was very effective.

I love your videos it's sad how rti rates and prices there stuff because they do have some unique firearms but for the condition they are in the prices are crazy and like you said some of the guns the parts are very hard to find

All in all this doesn’t look that bad, but it’s probably 100 or more in parts to repair those per rifle.

Pretty cool that they all were WW1 era, but it sucks that they were missing so many parts and had damage.

I see three easily fixable projects.

I ordered 20 and got 10 complete guns in the end. Only 3 of 20 had bad stocks. Most of them are just missing the hand guard.

Hey Ready to bad they dident send you rifles that you could of pieced together the parts to get one good rifle and have parts to make one more. There is a guy that makes new top hand guards on Ebay and there is one more guy that makes new replacement screws for the Calvary carbine on Ebay too. There are parts out there. THANKS for the video on the B grades. I have 4 full price carbines from RTI and all but one were great.

10 years from now they’ll be $700 bucks and you’ll be saying, man I wish I’d picked up more when they were 100 bucks.

My $99 M91 Carcano from RTI will arrive Saturday, for 99 bucks just couldn’t pass it up.

Well, I was considering buying during this deal but based on what I am seeing from your video, I am glad that I did not. Stuff like this wouldn't work in my collection.

I got lucky on my 3 100 dollar carca I got from black lab fire arms last year all TS everything is there but ine was missing a hand gaurd and only one stock kinda beat. Would share but sadly they sold out of his stock I think by around January

Got my rti carcano just a day ago from this post, it was not bubble wrapped at all and was said to be in very good condition; rust dark bore, sticky bolt and pitting. Not sure very good condition is accurate rti.

These things sold out so quick it was unreal. I was gonna pick one up but they literally went out of stock as i was adding it to my cart. If I had one of these, i'd probably look at putting it in a modern sporter stock and use it for deer and maybe elk hunting

for the price id say its alright, thats up to whoever gets what they get, but calling these B grade is extremely misleading (i know typical for RTI and many other importers). the problem is that if this is B, that means A is only just "nice". an A should be great shape, cosmetically and functionally, with B being perfectly functional and fully complete but more wear. these should clearly be C grade

I recently purchased one of these grade B Carcanos from RTI but the one I received has a shiny lacquered stock. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
