Cheap Stubby Jeep Bumper - NEW LOOK 

In this video you’ll learn how I found a used Jeep Wrangler Bumper for sale on the internet and then modified it for better ground clearance and also made it a stubby! Just using basic hand tools that most people have and are affordable to buy, I managed to cut this bumper and make it much narrower. I then cut the bottom off the bumper increasing its approach angle and ground clearance. To reinforce it, I welded a piece of steel plate to it and then painted it up.
Some of the other benefits to this bumper is the recessed winch plate. That mounts the winch lower allowing for more air to pass through the Jeep grill. The increased air flow should help the Jeep JKU run cooler as well.
In a future video I will cut the grill and complete the “Skully Mod” increasing clearance for larger tires. This will also eliminate my turn signals so I will have to rewire new ones in a new location in order to keep the vehicle street legal.
