I would suggest getting an air to fuel mixture ratio gauge on there so you know how rich or lean that it is running

Dude your videos are never too long. I liked the way this build is going, your doing a good job of strengthening the roll cage as well as the rest of the kart when you did that. Good improvement and you need all of the rigidness in that sweet little baby just in case you might have a wee little CRASH, just saying you never know when a big old tree or rock jumps out into your path. You may need a turbo oil restrictor. it keeps the pump from flowing too much oil into the turbo housing. They are cheap and they work well.

So no one is gonna talk about the 19 or 20 psi of boost lmao holy balls

In case it hasn't been mentioned, turbos typically have a restrictor in the feed side to stop the oil from blowing past the seals

A comment on structural strength when working with tube - it's best to triangulate everything. Wielding a strut to the middle of a tube isn't nearly as strong as fixing it to another joint. So the joints at the top of the rollcage were good, but the ones at the bottom, not so great. The struts below that were welded to the middle of the tube won't be very stiff at all. Extending it rearward to the join below will be make it much stronger

That's really awesome Vasily.This build has been great.Someone else also saw the left front wheel has something wrong too.Way too much movement. Have you considered Supercharging instead?Whatever you do,we'll be here to watch.

I bought one of these turbos they're not bad for hobby builds but when you buy them I advise checking the amount of play on the compressor shaft before you put them on. mine had quite a bit (enough to catch the side of the housing so I had had to make some adjustments ), also these turbos have oil restrictors in them as you may or may not know to help cool the it because otherwise the oil flows too quickly and once your turbo gets too hot you start to burn your oil so your pumps flow rate might be too high maybe add a regulator ( I just put a 'T' into the feed line with a valve to the return so I could change its flow through the turbo to my liking. You've done a good job there though keep it up 👍Hope this helps :)

I think that nut was from the impeller blades of the turbo. Ill ship you a subaru 13t just to see you use it on that thing.

I already use Harry's and love it.

I get the stiffening up and strengthening the rope cage but I don't get making it non-removable it's always good to have it removable so if you ever damage it in a wreck or crash you can always remove it and repair it. Without having to use a cut-off wheel in a welder

You'll probably always get oil going into the intake running it draw thru like that the old turbos that were draw thru had carbon seals on them to get rid of that problem. Awesome build man!

Wow 20 psi, Impressive! The plugs looked like you had the air/fuel pretty close. I've never had much luck turboing small engines. They never seem to have enough exhaust pressure (not the case with the 670cc) and dealing with all the heat(oil cooling, elaborate exhaust system, higher intake temps from conduction)isn't really practical on an off road vehicle. I've had more success supercharging them. It gives you boost on more of the power curve like when you get stuck in the mud and climb hills. Not just at the top end like a car. Just a suggestion.. I'm sure it will be bad ass however you build it! RED & Matte black 😁

The most important question is Do you have a kill switch this time ?

You could put a pressure releaf valve on the oil line before the turbo to keep a constant oil pressure and let excess oil flow back to the reservoir.

Should add a sealed AGM deep cycle battery to run all your lights. Will act a a reserve for juice. Being a deep cycle battery, you can leave your lights or radio or whatever for good amount if time before its get below 80% or so. I have a deep cycle optima battery in my car. Can run radio for hours and still starts after 3-4 of music at 75% volume

Currently building a quad with a gx690 fitted with a Garrett GT2056V turbo from a Mercedes diesel. Going to be running blowthru on E85. Its running now just getting to grips with tune ignition etc. Never disconnect the wastegate completely the turbo will eat itself real fast.

I bought an old 2 seater Fox Silver Fox kart in dire need of rebuilding. I centered the steering column and centered the seat. I'm assuming it was originally meant for two smaller kids.. installing a 440 DuroMax engine, 18hp, 27 ft/lb torque!

Maybe it’s just the camera, but it looks like your front right tire has a lot of side to side movement. If you’re going to go with efi, I suggest speeduino with an no2c board. See if you can find some injectors from a can am 650. Awesome build!
