When I was a kid I remember getting some cheapo army toys, and that gun at 19:13 came with many of them. So, that means that mold has existed for at least 15 years.

Imagination was the best toy we had as kids. I remember having so much fun with these bags of soldiers. I actually made little tabletop games with them with terrain and shit. Also, pretending to be one of the various Final Fantasy characters and playing with sticks in the woods.

I love how the Warrior: Zero Hour box has characters from Conflict: Desert Storm on the back of it. I recognize Sgt. Bradley and the sniper Foley.

I'm pretty sure that giant soldier from the army play set is supposed to be a Russian paratrooper(But secretly he's actually the Hulk).Because making squares on squares was too much,they decided to throw snowballs at him until he had some semblance of camouflage and then proceeded to slam his face into a puddle to add more gray into his green face paint so he could blend better into the desert(assuming we are using the logic for ACU here).They also gave him an M-16 for deep cover missions against the Al-illuminate operating out of a mini-mart somewhere in downtown Detroit selling discount Oreo's with secret masonic symbols on them.Still a better plot than the Expendables :P

Weird to think my favourite Ashens video is nearly 10 years old.

The green, one-armed grenade thrower man also had a hole in his head. Obviously he's a demonstration tool for grenade safety. If you hold onto one for too long, you too can get limbs blown off and a perforated skull!

I had a few cheapo ones like this when I was little. They were always positioned as corpses on the ground while the good ones with 20 bajillion points of articulation and kick-ass jeeps and tanks did the fighting.

I think the design of the word "force" of that "elite force" toy was ripped off from the logo of the video game "star wars, the force unleashed" and just made it italic and had some generic bullet holes put onto it. wonderful. nice way to stick it up to Lucas Arts or whoever made that game (because I lost my copy and I'm too lazy to research it lol). Ahh, just one more company to sue the people who made that piece of crap.
