El Hadji Diouf shames himself, his club and all of soccer with his diving antics at Ewood Park in January 2005. Later his disgraceful manager tried to justify his shameful cheating.
@codecrusher450 Diouf is the racist! are you aware what he did against Everton? and all the incidents of him spitting at supporters in the past?.....if he didnt act like a monkey there would be no need for this thread, it was directed solely at Diouf, he`s not just a dirty player he`s a piss poor excuse for a human being!!
He dived and fell. The ref looked and gave the pen. Diouf stepped up and (albeit via the rebound) scored and won three points for Bolton. Not being funny but it ain't Dioufy being the idiot there. Wouldn't have complained against a booking for him to be honest but take it up with the Premier League referees official thingy. Not nice for Diouf to do, but we'll let him off seeing who it was against.
He is a terrible role model. I want footballers and actors to be the people who influence children, and stuff like this just fills me with dread. I mean if kids see this kind od stuff, what does the future hold. I know Hiltler was a bad 'un, but at least he didnt collapse under a phantom tackle and feign injury to gain advantage. My plea to EHD is please, I beg you, be a nicer person. Little johnnys future depends on it. I'd like to be a role model, but don't have the time..
@WhoLueYou Sorry, but this isn't a debate about humour, you've said "White British football fans are racist", I'm saying that is not true. Some of them may be racists, but then so may some Somali plumbers or Pakistani mechanics.....it doesn't make everyone in that grouping the same. And stereotyping millions of football fans based on nothing is pretty stupid seeing as how you've not met all football fans but just a few arseholes by the sounds of it.
El Hadji Douche in the Old Firm rivalry is like gasoline on a fire. Things are never going to get better. At least there's a racist on the field now instead of some ignorant pricks in the crowd. He'll make Scottish fans look good by comparison after Nakamura and Ki Sung-Yeung and Gullit and all the others. Take a look at Diouf and see how ignorant you make yourself look when you go there. Racism hurts you more than whomever you're after.
Rovers fan here - Looking forward to having Diouf at Ewood. Couldn't really give a toss about what he has done in the past. All people make mistakes in whatever walk of life. As long as he is dignified in a blue and white shirt, then who is to argue. He's a pretty decent footballer at the top of his game. You shall see thousands of negative opinions from Rovers fans becoming positive about him once he puts the ball in the net a few times - just wait and see. COYB.
wel i wud but i dnt no megson n maybe we wil b in the championship but thers not much i can do about tht. remind me agen who r u playin in the group stages of uefa cup? oh yeh thats rite u aint in it. u n the rest of the 6 finger brigade got nocked out. ow is it rich us callin u inbred. ur the ones hu all share the same surname u and darweners iv ur 6 fingers n 4 toes. c u later farmurrrr john
Cos he's knows he's gonna get the penalty and, chances are, they'll score from it. The fact that the keeper may get sent off is a little added bonus. That seems to be the mentality. I remember seeing an interview with Zvonimir Boban a few years ago saying that he played with players at Milan who would openly admit doing it!
This cost me £900. It was the Monday sky match, and I had an accumulater going with all the Premier League matches that weekend. I needed this to be a draw and it was 0-0 with about five minutes left. Freidel saved the penalty, but the cheating Diouf scored from the rebound.
Everyone says they hate Diouf but I can't see why. His fans and his enemies all sound a bit worse than he does. He seems to fit in pretty well so I don't know what all the fuss is about. He spits and fouls says horribly things during a football game. Welcome to the SPL!
as far as I'm concerned, he dived, but we cheated the inbreds; wot's the problem? it made that victory even sweater. 1-0 at inbred park the last 2 yrs haha 2 clean sheets, they never beat us ther an they had a total of 4 penno's agenst us last season; thats fukin cheatin if ne 1 is!!!
it's not the fact that i'll never be half the player he is, I'd hate to be him anyway, and it's not neccessarily the diving, it's his general attitude and the fact that he's a revolting player who spits at people and cheats, he should not be allowed to be playing the game!
That was an absolute textbook dive. He hasn't done badly, he's been at Rangers a few months and he's already won more trophies in that two months than ANY Septic player in the last two years hahaha we are the people, NAE DOUGH... 3 IN A ROW.
I think he accidentally tripped himself. you can see at the 3rd replay that he lost his footing and his right leg accidentally crosses with his left leg making him lose his balance. However, that is still not a penalty, ref's mistake.
@vikesh81 oh so you've met him then have you? And saw him opening concentration camps? No because he's pretty much the opposite. He's done a hell of a lot for charitys as well. He's a bit wild yes but a nice guy when not provoked or playing football
This is pathetic, but in all honesty, I have never watched a single full soccer match without something as equally or more rediculous being called a foul. It's seriously part of the game at this point. Pathetic.
@amuzeification you cannot defend how this player has behaved not just at rangers but at the other clubs he had played for. SPITTING ON AN ELEVEN YEAR OLD CHILD, that is despicable. And by the way i am not a celtic fan
Sha la la la la lalala Diouf Diouf! EL Hadj Diouf will spit on you! To be fair, we've had such terrible decisions against us since that game. 6 penalties for Blackburn in four games? Summat aint right there...
not to disagree with you all, but it seemed like a trip in his own calf, in my opinion.. watch closely @0:31 .. but he may have intended it so... anyways
Diouf is an awesome player, he acts stupid at times but that's just him. As for the dirty fouls, he's african, not used to the english weakling crap. Leave him alone. He'll always be better than you.
evidently im not sad. i'm ecstatic. you can insult me all you want but the fact of the matter is diouf cheated, we got one over on the inbreds and took the three points. we wer on to a winner!
@arena2101 Totally with you on this! And all the corrupt scumbags in the FIFA, that still cannot decide whether the ball crossed the goal line, instead introducing 2 extra refs.
it was dive....but i think rovers have got their own back by bribing referees....five penalties in four games against you scummers! i think you have more than got your own back!
this is soccer your gonna say maradona is a cheater when he made the hand of god....jajaja this is soccer man....go to southamerica and play a soccer macth anywhere on the streets
Diouf didn't dive..It's just that you're blind. If u look closely you will see the Goalkeeper's left leg hit Diouf's right leg as he passes by. It's a fukin Penalty
@gaulpict He has just went to Rangers on loan.An accident waiting to happen.Him a Lafferty in the same team is a nightmare 2 hot heads and cheats togethere
