@@lothre I work in the hotel industry. yes you can request a room but if it’s not available, then you will get what we have. But the way this person wrote the story. It sounds like they were issued room number days in advance which we don’t do in case any problems come up with the room.
@@lothre and even if the Wife had requested a specific room it more than likely would only be in the notes on her reservation not anywhere that she could see it let alone where OP could see. Opie’s wife would’ve had to request a specific room. OP would’ve had to somehow find out that she had requested it and request the same one. While yes it can happen. I’ve been in the hotel industry for years and I’ve never seen anything like this happen. Besides, we would check for cameras the rooms are thoroughly inspected.

I'm pretty sure installing camera in a hotel without the hotel knowing is illegal and the hotel can actual sue you because it will make the hotel look bad.

They don’t tell you what room that you’re getting in case anything in the room breaks so you won’t throw a fit when you have to be moved or demand compensation for being moved. General practice in hotels is not to tell the guest a room number until the person is checking in to save the headache of having to deal with issues.

Selfish narcissism, and willingly buying into the lies the AP was selling her. AP was a predator, and spent quality effort to seduce her away from her husband and generate that affair-fog. Once she was in the affair-fog and the wedge driven in her relationship with her husband, then the AP is the one "on her side" and any objection the husband has is automatically wrong because he's become the enemy and no longer her partner. This is not absolving her of anything. AP only succeeded in seducing her because she was willing to BE seduced.

I scrolled through the comments while listening and saw yours and agreed with it. But that was around the 12:30 mark. Then IMMEDIATELY all came crashing down HARD, like, let me get this straight: OP films them having sex. Quite literally creating porn of them. Unknowingly, against their will. And even OP's lawyer agrees that admitting to this crime will IMPROVE their chances in a legal court. Who would believe this? But the answer comes immediately afterwards, when the sex is described like a 14 year old's idea of sex. The comparison between OP and the lover sounds more like it's trying to convince the reader that OP is the better pokemon. I spend a good part of my time on Reddit, so I can spot a fake story somewhat. The first one is full of such stupidity I honestly couldn't listen. Recording without consent? Withdrawing all the money from shared account leaving her without any? Poisoning with her clothes with the intention of bodily harm? Threaten to physically drag her out, risking injury and legal troubles from him? This guy would've lost the divorce trial and would have a plethora of accusations against him, which could lead to jailtime. If any of this was real. And the lawyer said he did good by recording? Without consent from her or approval from the hotel? Yeah, no. All in all, 3/10. At least TRY to make these fake-a$$ stories sound somewhat true.
Cliches on these Reddit stories help to actually tell when it is fake or crafted to sound real, but all these details are lame-ass attempts to gather attention from video makers

This story is so fake. For the last 10 years, I have stayed at so many different hotels for between 100 to 200 nights each year. Unless you are at some Boutique Hotel, & certainly not at a chain like the Hilton, your room is never ever given to you 1 or 2 weeks in advance, it is not even assigned to you until you check in. So he can miss us with that BS that he knew it was room 125 one or two weeks in advance. Such a joke. Why do people even write things like this when they are so far from being true, it is beyond me.
You can't close a joint account like that you need the permission from the second holder of the account otherwise you just have to remove the money from the account and that's all you can do. Unless both parties come personally to the bank to give consent to close the account. Also what makes this seams even more fake is the fact that at the end the wife genuinely admitted to being wrong without breaking down and crying or shifting the blame away from herself that usually isn't how it goes.
This is the most real of all these stories I have heard. There is no doubt in my mind this is 100% accurate and not a larping redditor clown making up a nonsense story like all the others. This is the real one.

Multiple plot holes in the first story that others have already mentioned. Here are others I found. 1) He changed the locks but wife was able to enter inside house without problem 2) The wife of James was also Named Tina what? 3) Marriage ring belonged to his mother, but then he destroy it and flathen it and gave it back what??
The second my wife would bring this up is the day i would divorce her. An emotional affair is enough for me to split. The same thing goes with ownership of her body. My wife owns my body. That's why if i were to have an affair, it would affect her. The same goes for her. We have titles to vehicles, deeds to a house, and marriage licenses. You're literally a registered couple. Each has ownership stake on the other. The problem is there are people that shouldn't marry. Marriage is a partnership where no one does homework on each other.
Realized first story was fake when he started to blurt out everything he did to the ex wife, revengeful husbands on these stories only tend to tell the public and perhaps a lawyer or the ally friend, but not the former wife who “they won’t want to be near again”

I love a good story, but there are a lot of things in the first one that just don’t add up. If the ex-wife wanted to, she could definitely take legal action for unauthorized access to her email. The story itself could even be used as evidence. Plus, there are laws against illegal surveillance-installing cameras in a hotel room and recording people is a big no-no, no matter what your intentions are. The guy who was with the ex-wife could also take legal action because of the illegal surveillance, which makes the whole thing seem even more far-fetched. And while it might seem funny to put pepper spray in someone’s underwear, that’s actually considered battery. If she had a severe reaction, it could’ve landed her in the hospital and made things much worse. All said and done, you're looking at unauthorized access, illegal surveillance, battery, and emotional distress, it would've done more damage to him and his reputation if she chose to file a lawsuit. Am I correct about this?
This story is so fake, if it wasn't the giy would be so screwed with the amount of illegal stuff he did and the lawyer wouldn't be able to use any footage from the hotel room.

It’s a fake story hotels do not tell you your room number in advance just because if there’s any issues with the room and they have to move you last minute they don’t want to deal with an upset guest. Also, a good hotel would check for cameras.
TW spoilers and major doubts of the story being real I will say, you lost me at the pepper spraying the panties without mentioning it literally gassing the entire room. If anyone has ever sprayed pepper spray anywhere besides outdoors or in an extremely well ventilated area, you know it fills the area. I had my doubts about how real the story was, but hey, it's more fun to listen to now, knowing likely no one got hurt cause these people probably aren't real. I gave the hotel room camera setup the benefit of the doubt because maybe it's a different country with different laws or OP bribed cleaning staff and didn't mention it.

Im fine with fake stories if they've entertaining. This one wasn't, to many inconsistencies. Is his name james or frank? No hate to the channel, but the author meeds to learn more about how things work. You can not plant cameras in a hotel and use anything you record, you would just be opening yourself up ro a lawsuit. A lawyer would have warned you, not to do anything stupid.
If u are using someone elses content to make your "own" content, atleast put some effort into it so we know who is speaking rn. Compared to telltale for example, the gameplay in minecraft is plain boring, just jumping while I do have some fun watching the jumping puzzles in telltale stories. Second, even though, and there I give you some credit for, telltale uses an AI voice, it's still far easier to follow the stories. So like I said, put some effort into the narrating. I literally was so confused sometimes as to who was speaking atm
