We show you how we made a stowable swivel table inexpensively. We spent about $40 on the project.
We don't always eat in the minivan, but it's nice to have the option. We can use the table for playing cards, watching movies on a tablet and many other things!

You can be creative and use whatever you have on your hand like we did. :)
This video by Derick is a bit old, but he explains a similar build in detail using 1" piping.

Thank you! I made a "lagun" table based on your instructions and it came out great. Lowe's has unthreaded black piping and the fittings lock with hex bolts which makes it super easy to use the right length pipe for your individual needs.

I've seen 1-1/4" pipes used. 1/2" appears to be good for confined areas. Nice build quality. It's something you take pride in.

I love the simplicity of it. I'm a single guy that will take possession of a Toyota Sienna next week and already have plans to turn it into a permanent home as soon as i can figure out how to get rid of the middle and back row seats. I'm a new sub and have liked and viewed a couple of your videos already. Maybe we'll pass each other along the road some day!

Our set up is good enough for having a meal or playing a game of cards. We think we would need to beef up our entire support in order to do something like art on it.

I followed a RU-vid video when removing the 3rd row seats. The video did not go that far so we decided not to bother figuring out how to remove them.

How do you ensure that table holds weight? It should have another pipe going down on the opposite end of the corner

So far its been fine for what we use it for but we do always need to be mindful of how much weight we might place on it and always need to remember to not lean on it. We do have a secondary support method if we want to put more weight on the table but we recorder prior to coming up with that. Thanks for the comment!

Another question. Did you store your seats somewhere or dispose of them. I think if I do the camper conversion I won’t ever go back to a regular van.

We stored them just in case decide to sell as a van one day. Doubtful but for now we are hanging on to them.

Happy New Year, I hope you are well. I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I am hoping to get my hands on some design files (ideally I can open in TinkerCAD format .stl, .obj or .svg, or any drawings/diagrams/measurements of bed/cabinet/kitchen alternate setups etc) that I can take inspiration from modify to my personal liking to incorporate a combination of the best as possible. Happy new year to you! I wish we had detailed files to share but we kinda built this as we went referencing a ton of other RU-vid videos and websites. As for getting good prices on items, what we have found is often reviews that are done on products by RU-vidrs will have discount links in the description. Can definitely save money utilizing that. Costco membership could come in handy too. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the vid! I have a question, at 3:56 you said assemble and tighten with correct angles. For me the angles are always wrong when tight. Is there a trick? Thanks a lot!

Hi, you are welcome. Thanks for watching. To get the elbows placed correctly we had to tighten with wrenches if I recall correctly. We hope this helps.
