The girl who eliminated all those people was stupid to think that 42 wouldn’t eliminate her the first second he needed to. He was letting her do his dirty work
games are more fun with people like him playing, or else it's a constant masturbation session of people trying to out-integrity each other because the cameras are on them
If you do not want to feel bad just share it with the people you threw out. That would still be a lot of money. Being the sole winner later at the end is unlikely anyway.
@@treelove791 That's what was most confusing to me about that exercise. Either you don't care about getting any money yourself or you may as well take it. Rather than gambling to double it, he was smart and went for a guaranteed (and still big) payout.
Wow something is really disturbing about putting 100 struggling Americans in a wear house and have them compete against each other to win money from a super rich man.
They weren’t “put” anywhere. They volunteered to do it. Theres something really disturbing about putting 100 Americans in a warehouse* and having them work for crumb wages. Put your energy there.
I think its insane that all these people volunteered for a competition to get money that they didn't already have, so they lost nothing but the time they chose to invest; and then people are going to shame adults for trying to win the game.
He's so dumb for that , he cudve really helped his family if he had won , but he thought about himself and his personal satisfaction by taking revenge and stepped out
at the end they were all acting like it was sooo hard to pick someone to eliminate and they all wanted to stay in the box but it was literally 250k and 5 people, 50k could have helped all of them
During the row segment I kept thinking a row should have let the captain take the 100k with the agreement to split it. They could easily let the whole row win something vs everyone having a small chance at 250k.
The amount of anger I felt when I thought 42 was the only one to step out 😭 Love that he remained a sore loser until the end and tried to make everyone feel bad as if he was the hero of the show lmao
Tbh he played a great move. Solidifued himself as going out so you would basically be forfeiting yourself from the game with 0 if you stepped out. 58 may be the "hero" but essentially it was a stupid play logically. Ofc since 42 was a manipulative wanker it felt more like revenge but in the end nobody won.
42 was just playing to win. 58 intentionally sabotaged him, sacrificing his own chance at 250k, just for that? He has a family that probably needs the money too, and you’re glad that two people got nothing instead? Maybe you’re the psychopath…
People being held in a small part of a city in tents and not allowed to leave while getting bombed and dying of hunger while people like Cody ignore it is actually more dystopian, but sure.
oh yeah he fully turns the brights on behind you bc you're only going 40 in a 25 and he'll whip across the yellow lines to get in front of you if there's no cops around
Yeah that's a *ridiculous* gamble to not take it. It's literally a no-brainer. Even if you think you have mad skills in every category to "beat" every single person there... literally the very first challenge was completely random. You *know* you don't anywhere near have the level of control over the outcome that you would want to take that gamble.
I agree, I don't think that's even in question. I only feel sorry for the young guy with student loans, I imagine that's brutal and the money would set him up for life too, versus being unable to finish his studies and still live in debt, working extra shifts. That's sad... That's the future that 30 saved his son from.
59 was a real one. I was certainly not planning on crying during a mr beast video, especially after witnessing the horrific first part of the vid. 59, 58 and 14 definitely deserved the money.
exactly 😭 it messes with my brain that Mr beast usually gave these kind of people money after they lost but now I feel he’s getting greedier.. even the prize money is cut to half from the last similar video.
That's probably not as far off as you would hope! I know people who have worked on his videos and they said it's basically psychological torture when the cameras are off with extremely limited food and basic human functions allowed in order to pressure people to drop out.
@@user28a7dj8e7 Mr. Beast has made a lot of videos like this, and in some of the older ones he blatantly shows what the conditions are for people who are competing. In fact, as I'm sure you know, Mr. Beast has done challenges similar to this on his own. The basic layout is this: You are fed basic/bland food every day (not sure how many meals a day, but the portions are definitely enough), if you are staying over night you will not shower and bathrooms/buckets will be supplied, and there will be no form of entertainment outside of the people you are with. This video is different from the basic layout. I'm positive that they did not stay the night, because he said that it is not a last to leave video and he didn't show clips of the people laying down at night, like he normally would, and there was no privacy for using the restroom. Because of this, we can assume that either A. they did not stay the night, or B. They were allowed to leave the cube to go to the restroom. I lean towards option A for this video in particular.
why did he include children in this 💀 especially toddlers... those parents really need to be checked out. like even having a 5 year old, 10 year old, etc in a cube for hours alone is wild
So you’d rather knowingly eliminate yourself out of spite instead of staying in the game and having a chance to win 250K?! I know a broke Biden voter when I hear one!! 🤡
I don't feel that 48 went beyond the boundaries. He definitely sympathised with people but was trying to keep his emotions out of it, and didn't do anything particularly douchey. 42 definitely wrong for allat tho.
i just hate how all the hosts in tuxes act like this is so crazy and heartbreaking like they aren't the ones lording this money over all these people's heads. i understand it's generous, but they're playing with these people like toys. i think it's so wrong to treat 99 people like this and then give them nothing (or for some a much smaller something) for it.
They literally all get money what is wrong with you. You know those 6 people who left early ? They all got money, every single participant. But those who wanted to try their luck and maybe win more money they stayed and competed. Stop trying to villainize something that isn't bad, if we want to talk about TRUE dystopian shit then just pay attention to actual problems and war happening in this world.
I just loved seeing 42 get so mad when he realized he lost. Like just because you called it like a jackass don’t mean everyone would want you to win it rather than get eliminated themselves.
Right? Like he kept repeating that he had announced his intentions so 58 had to know that he would also lose and I'm here thinking 'my man, he didn't really care about winning, he just wanted to make sure that you lost.'
@@286seohe did know he would also lose. He immediately and silently let everyone know he was gonna ruin that dudes chances. He winked several times to let everyone know what his plan was. That's hero sht.
I'm chronically ill and $250,000 would let me get all the surgeries I need, and I would still throw away my chances to sabotage 42 if I was in this game. Dude is a giant asshole, he doesn't deserve shit.
No 14 is the dumbest kid ever lmao , will regret his choices after a few years , on the other hand 42 actually played the game , this is a gameshow , you're here playing in this gameshow to win, not to make some friends or care about people you don't know at all smh
@@DGen7Well, both 42 and 14 didn't win. But I bet you if 14 had made it to the stage where 42 lost, he would've won because no one would've stepped out to spite him. So making friends would've paid off. You people advocate for the loss of humanity when money is involved way too much.
Thank you!! 42 ultimately didn't win because everyone hated him so much. Sorry, but when there's a voting system in place every round to see if everyone can agree on a winner, YES its partially about making friends and alliances which is why he DIDN'T win. He acted like an ass, made a bunch of people cry, had a toxic attitude all to NOT win. Last I checked that just makes someone an asshole... and a sore loser there at the end. He has nothing to be proud of. @ameenah6472
Im totally convinced that sometime in the future we're gonna get something suspiciously similar to the hunger games and itll be run by mr beast. I can already imagine each episode he's like; "ONCE AGAIN WE ARE BACK AT THE GAMES, WHILE WE WERE AWAY THREE PEOPLE PERISHED, BRUTALY MAULED TO DEATH IN ATTEMPTS TO CLAIM THE WINNING PRIZE WHICH IN CASE YOU FORGOT IS A BILLION DOLLARS. IN THE NEXT EPISODE I WILL BE GIVING AWAY THIS TWO YEAR OLD BABY TO WHOEVER CAN SURVIVE THE LONGEST IN SUB-ZERO CONDITIONS ON AN ANTARCTICAN SECRET MILITARY COMPLEX" though some of his current content is already straight up dystopian 😭
Would people who don't need it spend 4 days in a cube for a 1% chance at it? It's kind of a given, seeing as how Jimmy would absolutely let Taylor Swift participate.
@@vae8652 For reeaalll. He pays them too. Pretty sure these people make more money from sitting in a box for 4 days and getting free meals than they do working a job for two weeks. That's before even considering how much some of them (100, 30, 47) left with.
Can yall stop being overly dramatic and twist things to make it look like he is forcing people into this or as if he is some villain ? They literally chose to compete for money, that's it. There are tons of other games and competitions for money such as this one.
If Mr. Beast had been born 50 years earlier, there’s no doubt in my mind he would’ve been the creator of the Stanford Prison Experiment……That is not a compliment.
@@RockinashyFACTS! 😂 my heart cldnt feel bad for anyone 15 or under lol like im 2 weeks behind on rent and eat ramen for the 2nd night in a row. They’ll be fine 😂
59 radiates with this beautiful light to me, he has lived his life true to others and himself. A good man. Oh but that 42 guy is evil, hope he has fun being remembered like that for the rest of his life.
That 43 year old woman was the most spineless person in this video which is saying a lot considering the 100 year old’s spine might have disintegrated already
I dont think shes spineless, I think she was relieved to not look too much like the bad guy here. She gets to play the game, while looking like she's manipulated by 43
lol, yall are so easily fooled, she knows what she's doing, 42 was just playing the bad cop so that she looked like the good cop, I bet team 40s secretly split the winnings after the cameras stopped rolling, it would explain why 48 didn't lie to win at the end
Honestly as a team captain I would have only waited for them to stack more money. I don’t owe these people anything - we all came knowing only one person could win the money
42 fa&fo. When you piss off enough people, there's always someone who will take one for the team just to make sure you get what's coming. 58 is a man of the people.
i love how they brought 42's hopes up by saying he was the only one that stepped out and then took it away from him. had he been a decent person he wouldve gotten that money, no one wouldve cared for him to be eliminated
I just can't believe he didn't understand that he was eliminated ON PURPOSE because he's such a creep that it was worth sacrificing $250k to prevent him from getting it. He kept saying "I loudly told everyone I was stepping out, you threw away money!" to the man next to him - who is proudly grinning and winking at the camera... Bruh. 😂 I wish we could have seen him watch this video and realize he's so despicable that someone would go down in flames just to take him down with them 😆
The 30 year old made the absolute right decision. He doesn't know those people. He has a family to take care off. He will have to pay taxes on that cash he won, so he will probably be left with 75k which still isn't bad.
I read on Reddit that MrBeast has said on his podcast that he actually pays the taxes for the people he gives the money to so they actually get to keep the amount they won.
@@lethukuthula7344yeah typically if you win something here like a Lamborghini or something you have to pay taxes on it before you can receive it... So lots of poor people who win things end up not redeeming their prize at all because they can't afford the tax on it :(
@lethukuthula7344 yes, it has to do with lottery laws. Prize money is considered like winning the lottery. It might be more than 75k but yeah. Just so you know it works that way every where. You don't get the full prize money when you win anything.
Cody, I’ve been watching you for over 6 years now and I’ve never commented on your videos. But you had me cracking up at work with this one. You always manage to lift up my mood. You a real one my man!
My favorites are: 14 for being sweet and vulnerable, 58 for taking out the villain, 59 for being selfless and encouraging, and 62 for taking no bs from the villain and calling him out!
58 has a special place in my heart! In my imagination, he's probably pretty well-off financially and did the show for a laugh. Taking out 42 the way he did was just 🤌🏻
this is the first mr beast video i’ve ever watched (although indirectly). the fast cuts and lack of context makes it so unenjoyable. like we didn’t get to see anyone react to that woman talking about the mining investments 😭😭😭
I'd take a series over this any time. But I guess for the more than 100 million viewers this somehow beats it. All these money ones (which I too have never watched on his channel but seen through commentary) just leave me sad. It's hard to be happy for a winner after that kind of fast pace misery 4orn and the whole "equal chance" nonsense punched in your face with the sorrow of those eliminated fresh in your mind and just overwhelmed by the fact that so many of them would've totally deserved it and DO deserve enough to support themselves and their families. It would have such a different tone if it was based in a place where people's needs are more appropriately met and with services available. It's just tragic to me, it's a little too real.
Yeah, I wish MrBeast had something like a second channel where he posted longer cuts from his challenges. The ideas he has are fun, but it’s hard to connect with any of the contestants and feel like you wanna support them when they get a few seconds of screen time each
yep thats why you dont make friends in competitions you have to go in with the mindset that: today i gonna ruin 99 peoples life so i can win else dont even bother showing up to the competition 😂😂
Gotta appreciate Codys ability to immediately and unapologetically answer the moral dilemmas mr beast videos provide. The contrast between everyone feeling bad about taking the money and eliminating others and codys "didnt realize this was a yapping competition" is hilarious.
I think that was more him mimicking the approach 43 (and 42) were taking to just ruthlessly eliminate people, even the 11 year old. Cody seemed to genuinely feel bad for the kid too lol
Imagine being the 30 year olds baby in the future like "yeah I don't have student debt because my dad won money in a mr beast video" and his friends are just like wtf
the whole 20/30 lines reactions to 30 making a decision they all ONE 100% would have made the same way was scuffed. “shame on you” chant would have made me cry icl
for real, why are they all shaming him as if they wouldn't have done the same thing and as if they are not all here for that Exact reason? money is what they're here for so it's incredibly unlikely that they wouldn't make the exact same decision if they had gotten the chance. absurd
We'll never know but I don't think we can say either way what the others would have done. We saw the captains of the other rows, who were actually in with a chance to win the 100k not step out, so I think its a 50/50 thing with no 100% certainty. I agree though that the chant would have made anyone feel like shite, especially knowing that sprinkled in there were others who would have made the same decision.
I feel like the only people that came out of these vids happy is Mr Beast. Cause even if you win the money, you'd probably feel a little bad for other people that needed it too and had to participate in that headache of a room 😂
