+Millie Fisher actually yes people have died and will keep dying. Broken necks can be fatal. & if you over rotate and your team miss, that's the first thing that's hitting the floor.
I feel when the music goes on and the cheerleaders are doing their routine people should be quiet. The whistle and screaming is annoying. I couldn't even hear the music much. They can scream and whistle when the music stops and they are finished with their routine.
Loooooots of work. Say goodbye to your social life, ourside of your team. Say goodbye to sitting around playing modded Skyrim all day. Say goodbye to online multi-player games. Say goodbye to all-day shopping. Say goodbye to rod racing in your spare time. Say goodbye to spending most of the day writing Ranma 1/2 fanfics. Say goodbye to those all-nighters at dance clubs. You will be faaaar too busy practicing with your team, and traveling too, to do any of them. Say hello to the training from Hell. Say hello to bruises, sprains, breaks, fractures, and possible paralysis/death. Say hello to spending almost all your time with your team. Say hello to your social life being your team. Say hello to looooots of hours practicing/traveling with your team. Say hello to looots of push-ups, pull-ups, weight-lifting, stretching in practically impossible ways, running... Oh sweet Celestia, the running. Say hello to learning everything about firearms until you can field strip a Glock, clean it, and put it back together in your sleep. Say hello to wilderness survival. 'What's that? You're hungry? There's a nice and tasty bear in the woods. There's your food. Try not to let it kill you. '. Say hello to the ex-Marine coach who seems to think he's training an elite cheer/soldier/mercenary squad now.
My daughter is a competitive dancer and my niece is a competitive cheerleader . Both are incredibly different. The one thing I love about cheer is that it's not just your team, coaches,family/friends that are cheering. Its everyone....including other teams! The atmosphere is really high pumped and extremely positive! I love it. No crazy dance moms or rude, crazy, self entitled ,spoiled dance kids. Always support your team, all the dancers(whether it's a rival school or just simply other dancers), and in doing so you will be supporting your sport! Dance competitions are and have changed dramatically in the past 3-5 years in a positive and supportive way. But like I said above, cheer is so powerfully loaded in positive and fun energy you cant help getting sucked in and screaming and cheering your ass off with them......ya that's right, I'm THAT crazy aunt in the stands lol.
Glad I wasn't the only one. I feel when the music starts and the cheerleaders are doing their routine people should be quiet. The screaming and whistling was driving me crazy. They can scream and whistle when the music stops and they are finished with their routine.
@@nickienicole8705 agreed but it gets very exiting seeing your team do excellent! The cheerleaders count in their heads anyways also, if the music stops they have to keep going
@@nickienicole8705 as a cheerleader i would have to disagree if it wasn’t for the crowd we’d be dead cuh everyone just sitting there like there’s no energy .
I am sorry. I am not saying people should sit stiff as board or emotionless in the audience during routines. May be just quite down the screaming and hollering. They can still support cheerleaders without being so loud. I know not to compare everyone the same. If the audience cheering gets so loud the cheerleaders can't hear the music well some cheerleaders may be able to perform their routine without hearing the music but may not all of them can. It wouldn't be fair to say "they shouldn't be a cheerleaders then." just because some may be dependent on the music. The routine may be quite dull without the music too.
If it’s your dream do it! ❤️ I remember when I was probably 11 years old, I wanted to be a cheerleader more than anything. I started watching my cheer friends closely, learning routines. For probably 3 months straight I stretched my legs constantly trying to do the splits (between the sofa and coffee table). It only took me a few months if that to be able to do the right leg splits and Chinese splits. I was very proud. My first year making the cheer squad was the following year, 7th grade on junior varsity. Then varsity my 8th grade. Went on to cheer 2 more years in high school. It can be hard work but nothing for me at the time was more fun than performing at Football games. Our high school football team in Oregon won the state championships my first year in high school. That was so amazing. Performing in front of hundreds of screaming fans!
Is this high school cheerleading? Dang. WAY better than I’ve ever been in. I was a cheerleader all through most of junior high and high school. These girls are amazing.
I love watching the interactions between the girls before and after the routine, you can tell how well a team is going to do based on their attitude towards one another. I miss my old team so much :(
I do cheer and gymnastics I am a flyer and love it . cheers is so amazing and as a do gymnastics I am on junior I joined last year btw . I can't wait until my next comp 😃
I'm in middle school competition cheer, and by how I'm doing now, I'm probably never going to be anything close to this good! A👏M👏A👏Z👏I👏N👏G👏!!!! Keep it up girls!!
'You got a cramp? You have enemies all around you! They want to *kill* you! They want to kill your *team*! You *don't* have *time* for a cramp! Grit your teeth, and keep going! Otherwise you, and your team, *die*!
The amount of work they put into this. I watched a few episodes of cheerleaders on awesomeness tv and I got tired just by watching it. These girls are amazing at what they do.
+Noe Pineda Sarceno I am a cheerleader and I am very flexible but half of my team mates are not flexible what so ever and are amazing cheerleaders si therefore you DO NOT HAVE TO BE FLEXIBLE TO CHEER
Wow and this was at Battle...I am sure thier routine is better and more incrediable. Brought me to tears. AMAZING!!!!! Congratulations on winning Worlds 2013!!!!
