Many companies are in Hosur zone like: - Ashok Leyland (3 plants in Hosur) - TVS Motors - Caterpillar - PSA AVTEC - Kamaz Vectra - Ola Electric Future Factory - Ather Energy - Terex - BMW Motorcycles - VST Tillers Tractors - Simple One (proposed) Apart from all there, there are many more tier1, tier2 automobile component manufacturing companies in and around Hosur. May be hosur will shortly become EV hub too - Ola, Ather, Simple, TVS, Ultraviolette, and may be Switch

But last ten years no significant investment in Chennai because of political instability Now Bangalore and Hyderabad growing very fast Hope Chennai regain it's Glory

Let's hope that Chennai does not really become Detroit 😅

The problem is Chennai is now facing the consequences of he political instability it had until a few years ago. Cities like bangalore and hyderabad have taken over Chennai in growth and development. Earlier Chennai was the only city in India to challenge Bombay's growth. Chennai still has the potential. It has a port which puts it very close to Andaman and Nicobar islands and countries like Sri lanka and is surounded by some of the fastets growing cities in India like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore and Kerala. Also Chennai is a very small city which has been recently expanded to some extent.

The numbers are absolutely wrong. Haryana and Rajasthan easily has more than 50% capacity for both two wheeler and four wheelers. Maharashtra has another large capacity for two wheeler, three wheelers and commercial vehicles. Mostly tractor is the one where Tamil Nadu would have a large capacity.

I want to make that same revolution in north India and I will overcome one day 🙏
