First time listening to your podcast and there is an innocence that comes across that is very sweet. 🍋I applaud you for having Chervin on as a guest as he is a deep well of wisdom and may trigger some, which is a beautiful thing because he will get you to THINK❤. He shares everything from what you can do for free for your health to the best supplements, practices and modalities available. I could tell you both were just trying to take it all in and he was just talking about the basics lol So much to marinate in and it would be awesome if you could have him on again!👏👏👏💛
I adore The Squeeze podcast and certainly will keep listening in the future. I do want to kindly offer some feedback because, unfortunately, this particular episode felt like a miss. For anyone who struggles with or is prone to eating disorders, I would highly suggest skipping this episode. The commentary praising long-term fasting (and claiming that bodies in starvation mode start to eat cancer cells, cyst cells, etc) felt dangerous and potentially triggering. A lot of the suggestions and commentary made by Chervin simply doesn’t resonate with majority of the population who lacks time, money, land and access to these resources. Really looking forward to future episodes with guests more focused specifically on mental and emotional health. And REALLY missing the Lemon 11 in episodes that don’t have it! That’s my favorite part!! 💜 Love the Tays. Love The Squeeze. Looking forward to more.
I agree. I can certainly give this guest the benefit of the doubt that he knows his stuff and his intentions are really good. BUT, speaking for myself, for someone who has been down this path before, I became obsessive, spent A LOT of money, became insufferable to my friends and family ..I was very preachy. When I was laid off during Covid and had to take a lower paying job, I couldn’t afford such products and grew very tired of the …"you can’t afford NOT to..." rhetoric. Sigh… I would like to offer to anyone who felt this a little overwhelming…just do the best you can😊. Pay a little more attention to what you eat, stay hydrated, less sugar, move your body, less screen time, surround yourself with people you love, get outside and play, spend time with your fur kidz and don’t worry about living to 120. IMO, the goal isn’t long life -it’s having a really satisfying life. A healthy body will help your brain/mental health yes, but your mental health/ sense of wellbeing will help the rest of your body too so . maybe start from that angle instead if all of this is too much. Yes indeed, we’ve done a lot to this planet and our methods of feeding this world are far from perfect , but it is what we have right now. I would think the best "movement" is to help our planet so that it can help us. i don't know that mining, sourcing from other parts of the world is the answer...that impacts the planet too. The body is amazing at adapting and healing itself with positive attitude, and since the placebo affect is so powerful, then believe the little steps you take can heal you. You are not doomed if you cannot afford to practice the lifestyle this guest is suggesting. (I personally don’t want to live to 120 anyway;). I would LOVE to learn how to grow my own food in my own limited space if a guest could come on to talk more about that. That would be awesome! Thank you!
There is so much research that proves fasting to “eat” cancer cells. Your comment really just triggered ME because how can you want to keep information like that from the public due to your own personal association with an eating disorder. There are many of us in the health and wellness community who LOVED and/or would love this episode and it’s important information that needs to be shared period.
@@AquamarinaPearl - I do apologize if anything I shared was triggering. Unfortunately, my opinion seems to have been misunderstood. I did not say that I wanted information withheld from the public, especially anything valid and backed by research. I did, however, state that this guest and their approach to eating didn’t seem to align with the overall theme of the podcast, which is mental health. Given that overall theme, and that eating disorders really are mental health disorders, I was only looking out for anyone in The Squeeze community for which this episode may not serve and could potentially harm. It was also my opinion that the ideas of growing one’s own food, searching for foods sourced in a specific manner and even spending time in the sun nude aren’t realistic or sustainable approaches for majority of the general population who lack time, money, land and access to do so. These are simply my opinions generated from my personal perspective, as everyone is going to have and free to share in a kind manner. I’m very glad you enjoyed the episode and found it to be valuable.
These are exactly my words! Long-term fasting is really not for everyone, especially we, people, who are cyclic (menstruating), should really listen to our body's needs according to the menstrual cycle phase we are in! 😊❤
I've never heard a valid argument in favor of capitalism. Proponents of capitalism only ever try to implement gaslighting and/or logical fallacies. Really. Try to have a sane, civil, honest conversation with any proponent of capitalism, and they'll prove my point. But if you like all manner products within the capitalst matrix, if you own a business, and have employees. and you still want a much more sane and harmonious economic system, You're Not A Fucking Hypocrite. Don't let them silence you with that weak argument . It would be just as ridiculous to argue that one is a hypocrite for drinking city tap water, when they had no other options , and therefore one shouldn't be able consider better sources of water. Narcissistic personality disorder is an epedemic. And when they project "well the problem is nobody wants to work. " Ask them what landlords even fucking do . Ask them what the CEO of Starbucks actually does . Etc. No shade at seasons of nondoership. But shade @ projection.
Hey Tay and Taylor lautner, I know you probs get like 1000 of these so you will probably never see it but I’d like to take my chances. I’ve been watching and readings twilight since I was really young (although it was probably not very appropriate I still did) and to be honest with you since the beginning I was team Edward, but I think that’s because I wasn’t seeing the bigger picture. Over the past year I’ve realised that Jacob was the right option. Through that I started doing more research on you and your beautiful Wife Tay and realised how amazing you two are for eachother and honestly I’m a huge fan of both of you. Tay you are legit a beautiful human with an shining personality and even though I’ve never met you just looking at your content on instagram and your dogs instagram and your AMAZING podcast I cannot stop listening to, i realised how perfect of a human you are you’re really a shining star I admire so much even through the way you completely respect the friend shop Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift have and it’s actually beautiful how respectful and kind you are. On the other hand Taylor. I’m a huge fan of your work! Especially twilight it’s my comfort show and I love it so much! You’re such a kind and caring person and you have such a bright energy that just makes me feel happy and safe even if it’s through a screen. I can see how much you care for Tay and how respectful and kind you are toward her. I admire you so much in ways you can’t imagine. One being how even though you and Taylor Swift did date and I’m not sure if it’s a rumour or not but she didn’t treat you how she should’ve but you still have an outstanding friendship with her and helped her in the I can see you music video and coming out at her concert. I wish I could’ve been there it would’ve completed my life to see you, Taylor and maybe even walk past Tay if I just happened to but I couldn’t even get tickets in my own country 😞. (No hate to Taylor swift I love her music and her so much and I’m sorry if it came across that way I didn’t mean it like that) You two both are such role models and I really wish to be like you one day. Even though I don’t know you, you’ve both changed my life for the better and I appreciate you both so much.
