nowadays , anything that is not rock or pop they call it jazz. What nonsense, there are a lot of lps ,which are jazz, but Chet is my favourite by far. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have seen Chet four times, 3 in Barcelona and one at Ronnie Scott´s. Those great memories are forever ours. So if some misguided bloke tells you what jazz is, pay no attention, stick to Chet. Greetings from down south Barcelona and keep on listening to real jazz music.

Poet and also tragicaly a sufferer... But I dislike the world without guys like him... In Jim Jarmuschs "Permanent Vacation" There is this black man in the cinema who tells this Doppler-Effect-tale. I Think it is about Chet... Sad. And beautiful.
