when are you going to launch as per rumours the price is above a lakh. if bajaj chetak electric scooter wants to crack and reach heights in the market reduce the price of the chetak distinctively less than Honda activaa than it can reach masses do not sport electric vehicles as luxury they are the need of the hour.

Bought Chetak a week back, Chetak has a flaw with keyless entry, today the vehicle drove for almost more than a kilometer without the keys 🔑 with rider this looks like a great technical flaw and error by chetak engineering team , aay one can intelligently take this vehicle and vanish off to unknown location 📍please think twice to buy chetak without subsidy as well

10 yrs. Also battery charging capacity decreases by 1-2% every yr. It is just like phone battery. Battery is non replaceable in Bajaj scooter. But I think after 5 yrs you should be able to do after market upgration to 200 KM+ with Rs 10,000 (current price would be Rs 30,000).

Agree it should be 90000-100000 (max). They can launch 200 KM with 1.2 Lakhs. Also personally I think Indian government should subsidised then by charging pollution tax on petrol and diesel fuels. Lets say 20% (max 20000) for 5 yrs and then 10% (max 10000) another 5 yrs. I have no idea how long government will take to come on this and implement adoption aggressively. Also first target should be buses and trucks.
