Colorado and Canyons do have rear vents for your A/C and heat, they are located under front seats and only work when vent and floor option is selected. Make sure your new floor mats aren't covering them. Hope this helps keep your baby comfortable.
Maybe take a heat gun to the floor mat in the rear and heat up the center portion of the mat so it tucks under the center console and close up the gap.
This video hit the spot on for me. I normally get Husky but someone posted about these Gator liners in a Canyon group I’m in and wanted to see how they are. Also definitely have been looking for a phone holder. The truck doesn’t seem to have any room to put our phones anywhere but will check out these Pro Clips. Thanks!
@FortuneOffRoad all credit is to Matt Ross on here who did it with his diesel zr2. Double check the shifter number, though, cause I ended up with the RS blazer shifter with red accents and I very much prefer the stock black one over the red
So I think your upgrades missed the mark let start with your phone get Car2play and go wireless for your android Auto. It's 170 but worth every penny. you plug it in between the seats with the USB under your elbow Then spend 15$ on an Amazon wireless charger. No more plugging it in and you can mount it the same way you mounted your holder in the video. Just my two cents on the phone, it felt like you went half way. Also I added a removable brake controller (my truck didn't come with it installed.) using some quick clips. Since I only use it in the summer for my RV. Then during the winter it's gone like it was never there.
Just personal preference at this point. The reason I go with ProClip is because they have SO many accessory options. Plus they are really secure when offroading. I liked it so much I bought the same mounts for my 2022 3500. They work great too! I was towing with my Colorado almost every weekend so no reason for it to be removable for me. The people that bought it love the spectrum brake controller, and so did I. I would do both again! Thanks for checking it out! 🤙🏻
Man i have 2019 colorado but a passenger i was giving ride home stained my passenger seat which is cloth seat by mfg standard, could you recommend something that would assess this situation?
Love ProClip, I've used them in the past, great mounts. Debating between the ProClip "Center Mount" and the ProClip "Angle Mount" for my 2019 Colorado. (The "Angle Mount" is the one that goes on the other vent to the right of the stereo.) Question: How much of the infotainment screen is blocked while using the mount that you installed? Any chance to get a photo from the driver perspective? Thanks!
Yeah, they're awesome mounts. With my phone setup on the left side, about 1/2" of the screen is blocked. For example, I can't see the "Home" circle for Android Auto. I definitely wouldn't mind putting my phone on the right side either though. If you message me on Instagram I'll get you some pics. 🤙🏻
