You can get a harness that provides power to the stereo and retains chimes. No need to wire to ignition/accessory wire with this. Metra LC-GMRC-LAN-03 Wiring Interface
Hey, idk if you still respond, but i have this damn radio, and i tried installing it multiple times in my 09 malibu, at first it would come on but when i take the car off it would stay on and wouldnt shut off at all.. so i just linked the power to the fuse box “radio fuse” everything works perfectly now but I dont know if it was the wiring is wrong but now whenever the radio comes on.. all of my meter needles go down and brake lights come on check engine light.. literally every single dashboard light, and when i plug out the radio everything goes back to normal… I am so fed up please help lol
@@khmerohioHey back again, I got it working yesterday but the next morning it doesnt even turn on now, nothing has been touched, i just plugged out and plugged back in now it doesnt turn on at all, the radio fuses are still good and the wires are still good
I got it to work but the only problem is that the steering wheel controls don’t work anymore? Did I wire it wrong or does it only work with the stock radio.
Yo quise instalar a mi Chevy malibu uña auto estéreo con su paso y si enciende el auto estéreo solo que no sale sonido para ninguna bocinas según yo investigue y dicen que es por qué trae un sistema de sonido Bosé de agencia no sé si me podría dar un consejo como poder hacerlo saludos
