Just a note--- I use 3/8 fuel line hose about 8 inches over the rod bolts to center the rod on the crank and protect the journals.

I wouldn't dare attempt this without something over those rod bolts to protect the crankshaft. Thanks for the video!!!

Hi I got a sbc 350 bored .60 over and I changed the rod bearing ls now it is binding any idea why?

Supposed to oil the piston and always put stud protectors on for the rod journals

Why gap Speed Pro Hypereutectic to .022? I could understand KB hypers being gapped that much. From what I’ve read, Speed Pro’s are good at standard spacing which is .016-.018 on the top ring. Correct me if you know something I don’t please.

Rod bolt caps! Use em!

As a builder you should never touch bearings with your hands better to have gloves on now the oil from your hands are on them...

Do you need plasti gauge if your rods are brand new with new bearings and your crank in machined and balanced with brand new bearings ?
