I was paying a 100 every time my sensor went out. This time I ordered a tpms off Amazon took it to tire shop they installed it for 10 dollars came home did everything you showed on this video. Good 👍 video

Hi, dude, you seem the only person on RU-vid suggesting your viewers to swap in a fresh battery. That solved my issue. Mine is an EL-50448, a brand new one. But who knows how many months it sat on the shelf before shipped out. I tried again and again but did not get the response beeps. The device had its green LED on though when I pressed down the transmit button. Until after seeing your video, I put a new battery in and then got the vehicle chip reset. Thanks a lot!

You need to hold it to the sidewall of the tire in line with the steam, not on the steam. It worked a lot faster, also that is where the sensor is. I made the same mistake the first time I did it. Good video.

I have a 2020 Silverado ltz that i bought lifted and with bigger tires. I keep getting the “check tire pressure monitoring system” my problem is I can’t get the tire pressure monitor. You know where it shows all 4 tires and tells you psi for each one. What do i meed to do? Thanks!

You hold it to the tire rubber right where the valve stem is, not at the valve stem or the rim. The rim blocks the signal. It only takes a second or two for it to relearn. And you push the button on the EL-50448 and release it. It will blink for about 10 - 15 seconds and shut off, so you need to program within that time frame. After it shuts off, push and release the button again and relearn the next tire. If you have a 2019 or newer Chevy/GMC you may have gotten trailer tire sensors. You use the same tool to program those sensors. Only difference is the programming sequence. It goes left front, left rear, right rear, right front. The whole process took me less than two minutes to learn all four trailer tires. Now my trailer tire pressure and tire temperature displays on the infotainment screen.

I tried a similar device over and over again and it wouldn't relearn the tpms . I went and bought a new battery for the device ( even though it had brand new battery when I bought it ) and it worked first try !!! The battery indicator is the same before and after installing the new battery

Note : if you have a tpms valve stem replaced.it won’t work right away because it have to match the rest of the other sensors for monitor to understand it. I have that device and it does work if they all match .

As an FYI whichever tire is being done the corresponding blinker will be lit up. You can notice in the video as well.

I forgot to mention i did see a couple other videos on here where they use a similar tool but its orange. Is that the same one or do i need that blue one you have?

Helpfull tip I almost gave up after my 5th time around my 2018 silverado the sensor was reading through the valve stem it read instantly on my tire side wall I guess it couldn't read through the metal rim

What yrs the truck? I got an 08 Sierra. I kept trying to do the relearn the normall way through letting air out at the tires, but it justcwont work...probably gonna need the tool!

Hey so I have a 2016 Chevy Malibu and I do it on the front driver and passenger good and the back passenger is good but when I get to the back driver one it does not seem to honk does that mean the tire sensor is bad?when my tire pressure came on and it was blank on the tire pressure it was the front driver one but that one is finding the signal fine. Do you think the tire sensor bad ?

What where the 2 buttons you held on the key fob? I'm having the problem where my HUD on the dash wont show the option to relearn tire pressure like all these other videos are simply showing? Thanks

You forgot to mention that each marker light will light up for each wheel position, watch your Rh front in the video you,ll see light match with the horn sound.

When I press the button, the green light blinking along with the lowbat read light. I tried two new batteries, it happens the same.

Tire sensors are stupid just like Oil reminders, people should check that stuff manually not rely on a computer to remind them. I am an automotive technician and people freak out when the batteries die or wahatever and a warning comes on the dash.then I have to figure this crap out, ignore the warnings and check your tire pressues manually.

Hahahah or you can unplug both terminals of the battery for 5 minutes instead! 🤦🏻‍♂️👊🏻💥

All the crap they put on our vehicles. Can I have just a basic good truck? Suppose I will have to go in reverse and buy a 1969 truck. Regret buying my Silverado . 100s of things can go wrong on these new trucks.

This system is totally shit When the cars monitor setting is at say 45psi why won't the light come on at 30psi where.its.still safe for the cars operator to drive and make the tire corrections the reason is this if the tire air pressure is 45psi max and you can only.drive with 45psi and no lower with out that.idiot light ilumminating for 44psi Pressure another.reason for not inflating your tires.at max air pressure is because of expansion of the tire.when it's.hot.and.not.only.with the hot.air.but.also the amount of rotation the.tire.is travling at a high speed.witch.coul cause a.tire.failure if not a blow out because.of the steel belt that keeps the tire in a constant round configuration rather than warping of the tire it's.self because the steel belts torn apart dew to the tire reached its maximum expanding limits So yeah.the.system needs.to be redesigned

Talk to much. Get to the reset. No one care you bought tires or factory wheels

I was told you could let 2 or 3 psi out of the tire and the horn will chirp and do the same to the other 3 tires, only thing is you have to reinflate tires to proper psi.
