Chewin' The Fat is one of the most unique Scottish sitcoms! Anytime We would see that angry man flip out and destroy the whole place, they are scenes that remind Me of when My Dad couldn't get something right and would just lose His patience over it! 😂😂😂
This was really funny from the very beginning. "The owner of the sskhy blue Nisshan Sshunny." (Renminbi) Hahahaha The origin of Jack and Victor. ❤ 😅 😊 😂 ❤
When it comes to live comedy shows, trust Me, they don't always turn out as You'd expect! Mistakes just happen naturally due to a small natural feeling of stage fright, so just improvise! It happens to the best of them! But, man, Karen Dunbar was funny as Hell back in the day! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The 2000s were the times I loved! I would've only been 3 years old when this was live! 😅
Amazing to think that the year before I had seen ford and Gregg doing panto at the Kings with Billy Boyd, the next year the pair of them had the theatre all to themselves and Boyd ended up in the biggest Hollywood movie of all time.....ohhhh the glesga banter
Um... they're actors. You know: trained actors. Unlike today's RU-vid 'celebrity personalities' who think they're media stars and great performers because they can smile at a camera, real actors learn lines and whole 3-hour plays when required; they learn the classics, they learn huge chunks of other people's dialogue, and they learn the art of improvisation. In Britain (and of course elsewhere) there's a long tradition of theatre, so actors you see on TV have often come from the stage. They may be playing crappy parts in a daytime soap opera (or in something like Star Trek?) but they're highly skilled professionals who make what they do look easy. Memorising a week's theatre is daunting, but there'll be people doing it in cramped little rooms all over the country right now. Tonight. Working on TV - where you only need to speak a single line before the Director shouts "Cut!" - must seem like light relief. I doubt if most RU-vidrs have got the slightest idea of how wide the gap is between their grinning and mumbling and what hundreds of actors in repertory companies get up to. Learning lines is HARD. Appearing on RU-vid or even on a reality TV show doesn't make you an actor any more than looking up 'diseases' on Wiki makes you a doctor. ;-)
Love it guys or mates . whatever y’all did you must do it again . It’s a Great show - wished I could of made this one, but I’m in the states - Awesome job though.
I Really Love Jack Jarvis Esquire & Victor Macdee From Still Game & I Am Gonna See Still Game Again For The Final Tour ON The 5th Of October For The Final Still Game Live Tour
Rab C Nesbitt was far better and an idol from my childhood. He was old school Glasgow. Chewin the Fat were the new school and that's why I still consider them way down the list of funny Scottish comedians.
I was watching an episode of chewin' the fat (the funeral for a lonely shopkeeper) then ma phone froze then this live show came on in place of it ..?????
