Beautiful cover! I love the look of the cascade, but I think I prefer the delux as well since I only ever use those pockets for a wallet anyway.

I rolled my maverick to soften it up. Rolling it breaks the sinews in the leather to soften it quicker

What a beautiful cover!! I love the ruggedness of it!!! Visually I live the cascading pockets but practically probably the deluxe layout. Haha

I prefer the cascade :) Its easier to take items in & out. Especially when your TN is stuffed and you have inserts in the way. I also prefer the old pen loop. The new one gets in the way when using the secretarial pockets, and the pen loop moves around too much now.

I love the pattern on yours! I have an older maverick in classic and it’s thicker than this scout and pretty heavy. I will also say that if you ever plan on getting a creme deluxe it is HEAVY.

@@spellboundnotes mine is a narrow and it is so beautiful, but it’s not something I like to take on the go. Now, as a desk planner it’s awesome. It also smells like an expensive piece of leather luggage 😫

I've seen them pop up on the BST over the past week! I've been looking at the Lecow site for so long, I feel a little overwhelmed by all the options though! 🙈🙈

@@spellboundnotes yes, there are a lot of options, but Diamond does amazing work. What I’ve found helpful is, in the FB group, Diamond will post a cover and then he will list out everything you need to order to get that same look. It helps a lot.

Huzzah!!! A new video! Time to relax and watch. 🙌😄 Sidenote/ ninja edit: I believe there’s a sort of leather softener that may help if you feel it’s too stiff. (I speak as someone who wears boots.)

What do you use? I have a couple of leather conditioners, but I'm always on the lookout for better products!

@@spellboundnotes i tend to use a mix of Kiwi and Coach leather softener. It works like a charm. As well as Leather Honey.
