Absolutely love your collection! I have two Mavericks, a classic pocket plus (which I bought after seeing your video on using it for your Hobonichi A6) and a deluxe narrow. I love them. The leather is gorgeous, I call them my forever notebooks because they will look the same years and years from now. Mavericks aren't cuddly leather, but they are most striking looking and definitely have a classy and polished look about them.

That’s awesome! Yes, definitely not cuddly. When I used my narrow as my journal a while ago, I took to stroking a smooth area where my thumb naturally fell when I grabbed it♥️

I got my first Maverick in the Golden and Dark Brown in 2016. They also had a Maverick in Black at that time too. The leather wasn't a very good seller so Jennifer decided to remove the line. Once she removed the line it became something that people wanted. So they did a test run of it to see if they should bring it back. And it has been back since then. I wish I got a black Maverick when it was available. You have a beautiful collection.

Oh if only I had been a CS customer way back then, she might never have had to remove the line 😂😂. Glad I could help during the test run though, haha! I see a lot of requests for black maverick, hopefully it’s enough to warrant a limited run. Thank you, John♥️

Gorgeous Maverick collection Sarah! I think the only size you are missing is the composition cover? I really think CS should partner and make you the spokes person for this collection! Your voice is so beautifully calm, soft, and well spoken and your presentations are always so well rounded and pristine! As for the covers, I especially Love the details of your pocket the best for me Tehehe. I'm thinking you can use the pen loops as Tabs? Look forward to more setups and usage suggestions. Luvs xo

Oh my, I’m so glad I didn’t get a composition when they were selling them in maverick. If I had known, I would have bought one even though I have no clue how to use that size! You leave me the sweetest compliments, Cynthia! Thank you 🤗. And yes, that pocket texture has my heart! What a great idea to use the pen loops as tabs! Brilliant!

I don’t think you could have gotten any better, what an addition to your Maverick collection. I discovered that a pocket plus can house an A6. I don’t like too many notebooks in my TN’s so the pocket plus fits to edge for my Stalogy. Only Maverick I have is the weekly it is beautiful but I realize Maverick’s are bit to heavy in weight for me. My favorite is Pemberly which is pebbly but floppy which some don’t like. Thanks for sharing your “enormous” collection🥰

I’m such a fan of A6 notebooks in pocket plus too! And you’re right, Mavericks are heavy and bulky. Pemberley is a great choice for lighter and softer leather. I still have my Daisy I can’t part with 💛

I love the Maverick and I always get a deluxe, so now I'm kinda freaking out now!. Out of all the CS sizes, what are your 3 favorite sizes, from most favorite to least? I'm also happy to see the moleskine fits in the wide! Your collection is just amazing! Love it!

Thank you so much! I’d have to say that right now my favorite sizes are A6, Wide, and Standard. My favorites slowly shift as I change the way I journal and plan. I plan on trying out B6 and B6slim this year so we’ll see how it goes!

Well, I knew as soon as I watched this I was going to get more Maverick. Hence I now have a Maverick Weekly and a Maverick pocket coming. Oh and my Odyssey Daphne A5. I was going to get a Maverick A5 but they were sold out so I switched the weekly and A5 and all worked out perfectly. Oh how we enable one another lol

I am so freaking jealous! I have 2, a wide and a weeks. Both are stunning. Since the word came out about the Deluxe, I've planned to get one or two more (budget woes mean I can't get all I want.). I wanted the A5 but when I ordered, it wasn't available, so i bought the wide. I'm struggling with what to get because I move size to size when I finish a journal insert. An A5 and wide seem too close in size when I'm trying to budget. So now I'm in a dilemma. Narrow? B6? Slim? A6? Pocket/plus? I wish I knew when the change was going to happen! BTW, I suggest getting some of the CS weeks inserts. You might not always want to use a weeks calendar. The inserts give you a different choice for using the weeks maverick. Even though I'm jealous, I lived this vid! Thanks.

Oooo, B6 or B6slim would be a good choice! Especially since you like to move around sizes. I saw Jen say in an IG story that right now is basically the last warning for buying deluxes as they are 😬. I totally have 3 CS Weeks inserts that I bought with my very first weeks cover! I have them in line to be journaled in at some point😁

Deluxe is my only love, next to pocket/pocket plus. Maverick is my favorite leather. I wish I could afford the dark brown pocket plus at the time but bills come first. I got the GB in pocket plus and I ADORE it. I’m gonna try my hand at second chance again. I also hate pen loops too. Ugh. I will cut off the new pen loops off every Sparrow I keep.

I hope you luck out with second chance! I could kick myself for initially supporting changing to classics only. I backpedaled as fast as I could and cast my vote to keep deluxe but no dice😩. Down with the pen loops!😂

Honestly, I have never cleaned or conditioned Maverick leather. So I don’t feel confident recommending any product. I’m sorry!

Find someone who talks about you the way Sarah talks about her Mavericks. (-: Truly, though, I wish I had discovered a leather that I would want in all different sizes. The Outlander Time Traveler came the closest (I have it in 3 sizes) but alas it was discontinued.

I'm so envious of your Mavericks. If you want to sell your B6, you hit me up! Because it's my size, and gawd, the maverick is everything. What's the deluxe feel vs the classic? Aside from the obvious pockets, how does it feel in hand? Still structured?

Haha, I will be hard pressed to sell the B6! It’s my favorite! The classic is still very firm and structured. Some pieces are more bendy if they have lots of cracks. But the deluxe is super thick and stiff (and heavy). I also find I don’t need as many inserts to fill out a deluxe, which is nice.

I have never journaled in a B6 yet! Hopefully late summer I’ll finally be able to use it. I have my eye on a B6 stalogy or Archer & Olive notebook! The sugar skull is a zipper pouch from Keely Reichman (Odd Girl Journals) on Etsy! They’re the BEST!

I’ve never conditioned them! I sometimes buff them with a rag to get some shine back but that’s all I’ve ever done. It’s kind of a hard leather to condition.

I prefer the Golden over the dark brown. I like the contrast that shows more in the golden. But if golden didn’t exist, I’d be all over the dark brown 😂.

Maverick absolutely holds up over time! I have some old covers that still look the same. They rarely soften or break in but that’s dependent on the type of texture you have. Some of mine have water spots (they are lighter brown spots). Scratches too, although not very sensitive to scratching overall.

I didn’t purchase any TNs during the anniversary sale in March. I was saving for the release of the anniversary TN which hasn’t been released yet (hopefully in June!). But I spent that money on these Mavericks instead 😂
