.....Seeing anyone without a beard, when they had a beard last time I saw them.... it's so different

they posted another video right after this one where he still has his beard, so it looks like it grows back very fast

So, the rockets would probably work, but in reality there’s scaffolding to hold the rocket in place up until the rocket takes off so it wouldn’t have to stay upright on its own.

That makes sense

They aren't as top-heavy as you may think. That big bulb at the top is just a shell around the payload called a fairing. It's basically just empty space filled with something designed to be as light as possible. Meanwhile, the entire bottom is filled with liquid propellant. It's like a Weeble.

It wobbles, but it doesn’t fall down?

9:18 If it didn't explode on the launch pad.... Why not. No one has tested it under terrestrial conditions.... The truth is that if you beat the zone of Maximum dynamic pressure (max Q - 12 km above earth) while rocket is super sonic, then you can even fly on a broomstick.

There are not warp or hyperdrive engines in the stock game. There are mods that add them, along with many sci-fi technologies.

All rockets are "Top heavy" the thrust comes from beneath the vehicle with the center of "lift" or drag, basically an amalgamation of all aerodynamic forces are just above that, on top of it all, is the center of mass. If the center of mass falls below the "Center of aerodynamic forces" (drunk, cant, for the life of me recall the actual term) you end up with a highly unstable vehicle. Thats why test rockets have to have a "Dummy payload" or a buch of bullshit chucked in the fairing to simulate an actual payload/satellite. About the shape of it, a ton of rockets are vaguely shaped like that. The huge portion at the top is the fairing. It just encloses the payload and protects it from aerodynamic forces. Like the bumper, hood, fenders and shit on your car. It's actually the lightest major part of the vehicle.

Actually, most of his rocket designs would not work on Earth. The planet Kerbin models a gravity nearly equal to Earth's, but Kerbin's atmosphere is massively thinner than Earth's. You might be able to physically build those rockets and get them to stand up on the launch pad, but trying to launch them through our denser atmosphere would destroy them, or they'd be so heavy you couldn't pack enough fuel into the rockets to get them to orbit. This is a big reason why when NASA was seriously considering a Mars mission, they planned to assemble craft in orbit. They couldn't launch rockets big enough to pack everything in one go. Engines have improved in the years since, and Space X is trying to do with Starship what NASA couldn't years ago, but even Starship is going to require refueling in orbit to get to Mars and back. They can't pack enough fuel at launch plus everything else.
