Not the best I’ve ever had, but they are really good and I buy them regularly. When I’m too tired to cook a full meal I’ll throw some of these in a salad or wrap.
I make my own homemade canes sauce, air fry some fries, toast some texas toast with butter and u get homemade canes thats 10x better, yall GOTTA try that
According to my son who used to work at Chick-fil-A, the Members Mark Southern style chicken nuggets from Sam’s Club are just like the Chick-fil-A nuggets. They have a very slight dill pickle flavor.
Use an air fryer next time and cook them longer. Youll get a crunch. They arent 1:1 of CFA but they are like 80% a match. When you use a dipping sauce they are even less distinguishable. Only reason to go to CFA is their spicy chicken sandwich and real lemonade.
To be fair, you also have to consider the time to drive to Costco, wait in the checkout line, and heating it in the oven at home as well the cost of keeping it in your freezer and using the oven. And yeah, I'm over thinking it. 😂🤓
I make my own chicken strips that taste very similar to CFA - cut breast into strips or nugs and marinate in leftover hamburger chips pickle juice with salt added for a couple hours or even overnight if you want. Batter is flour, salt, cayenne, garlic powder, pepper, paprika. Take chicken out of of marinade and dredge in batter well. I prefer to shallow fry them with olive oil. Good stuff - even my boy that doesn't hardly eat any chicken chows them down. Buy a bottle of CFA sauce from the store and you have 90% of the same thing for like a 1/4 of the cost.
Nice review but comparing apples to oranges. Aldi has Red Bag chicken (filets) that are more in line with a comparison to CFA that would be cool to see a comparison review from your POV.
I disagree with you saying Chickfila tastes better. I recently had Chickfila the nuggets were dry & so tiny. It would take like 30 piece to fill me up. Just Bare nuggets are a great size and moist inside. They taste a lot better than Chickfila. And you can buy chickfila sauce in the market now so there’s really no justification for wasting money on Chickfila.
I once made a "patty burger" from the just bare chicken and when i was on lunch break some of my co-workers smelled Chick-fil-A and mistaken mines as one, so i could see why they get compared
I'm just always here for the quantity from costco and Sam's. Something may not be exactly restaurant quality, but knowing i can buy 50 for like $11-$12 and eat it whenever i want is a win!
Just bought these yesterday. Definitely not a copycat Chick-fil-A nugget but I can see why someone would say that. Pretty good for a frozen nugget and I would always choose Chick-fil-A over them. But I don’t need to spend that much money all the time so these will do.
Time and gas to get to chick fil a plus the line? What about costco chaotic parking lots? Costco chaotic lines to pay at the register ? On top of that, you have to cook the chicken yourself
I bet if you deep fried the Costco nuggets they'd have been much crunchier, but then It'd probably defeat its purpose of saving you time by being pre cooked
A random white lady put me onto these nuggets about a year ago and ive eaten them so much i memorized the cooking instructions after a week because i made them every day
Just bare is at Walmart too. Haven't tried the nuggets but the fillets were good. Also please tell me you didn't compare frozen weight to cooked Weight. Not saying just bare wouldn't still be a better price, but that's an unfair comparison
Don’t forget chick fil A just changed their chicken also. They use chickens with hormones now or whatever. So their quality went down. I also believe they put MSG in their food so you’ll get addicted
