Garlic Mozzarella Bread
Dough:
250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour/plain flour
5g (1-1/2 tsp) instant dry yeast
25g (2 tbsp) sugar
1/2 tsp salt
42g (3 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
125ml (1/2 cup) warm milk
1 egg, whisked
Flour for kneading, if necessary
250g lactose-free fresh Mozzarella cheese (125g of each). We can use other cheese if it isn't available in your place.
Garlic butter:
2 tbsp softened butter
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp chopped scallions
1/2 tsp salt
A sharp blade or a regular knife.
Egg for brush the edge, if you are using.
Freshly cracked black pepper
Indonesian
Roti Bawang Putih Mozzarella
Adonan:
250 g (2 gelas) tepung serbaguna / tepung biasa
5g (1-1 / 2 sdt) ragi kering instan
25g (2 sdm) gula
1/2 sdt garam
42g (3 sdm) mentega tawar, dilelehkan
Susu hangat 125ml (1/2 gelas)
1 butir telur, dikocok
Tepung untuk diuleni, jika perlu
250 g keju Mozzarella segar bebas laktosa (masing-masing 125 g). Kami dapat menggunakan keju lain jika tidak tersedia di tempat Anda.
Bawang putih mentega:
2 sdm mentega lunak
1 sdt bawang putih cincang
2 sdm daun bawang cincang
1/2 sdt garam
Pisau tajam atau pisau biasa.
Telur untuk menyikat ujungnya, jika Anda menggunakan.
Lada hitam yang baru retak

Teig:
250 g (2 Tassen) Weizenmehl
5 g (1-1 / 2 TL) Trockenhefe
25 g (2 EL) Zucker
1/2 TL Salz
42 g (3 EL) ungesalzene Butter, geschmolzen
125 ml (1/2 Tasse) warme Milch
1 Ei, geschlagen
Mehl zum Kneten, falls erforderlich
250 g laktosefreier frischer Mozzarella (je 125 g).
Wir können auch andere Käsesorten verwenden, falls diese bei Ihnen nicht erhältlich sind.
Knoblauchbutter:
2 EL weiche Butter
1 TL gehackter Knoblauch
2 EL gehackte Schalotten
1/2 TL Salz
Eine scharfe Klinge oder ein normales Messer.
Ei zum Bürsten der Kante, wenn Sie verwenden.
Frisch geknackter schwarzer Pfeffer
Spanish
Pan de Mozzarella y Ajo
Masa:
250 g (2 tazas) de harina para todo uso / harina normal
5 g (1-1 / 2 cucharaditas) de levadura seca instantánea
25 g (2 cucharadas) de azúcar
1/2 cucharadita de sal
42 g (3 cucharadas) de mantequilla sin sal, derretida
125 ml (1/2 taza) de leche tibia
1 huevo batido
Harina para amasar, si es necesario
250 g de queso mozzarella fresco sin lactosa (125 g de cada uno).
Podemos usar otro queso si no está disponible en su lugar.
Mantequilla de ajo:
2 cucharadas de mantequilla ablandada
1 cucharadita de ajo picado
2 cucharadas de cebollín picado
1/2 cucharadita de sal
Una cuchilla afilada o un cuchillo regular.
Huevo para cepillar el borde, si lo está usando.
Pimienta negra recién molida

Pain mozzarella à l'ail
Pâte:
250g (2 tasses) de farine tout usage / farine nature
5 g (1-1 / 2 c. À thé) de levure sèche instantanée
25g (2 c. À soupe) de sucre
1/2 cuillère à café de sel
42 g (3 c. À soupe) de beurre non salé, fondu
125 ml (1/2 tasse) de lait chaud
1 œuf, fouetté
Farine pour le pétrissage, si nécessaire
250g de mozzarella fraîche sans lactose (125g de chaque). Nous pouvons utiliser un autre fromage s'il n'est pas disponible chez vous.
Beurre d'ail:
2 cuillères à soupe de beurre ramolli
1 c. À thé d'ail émincé
2 cuillères à soupe d'oignons verts hachés
1/2 cuillère à café de sel
Une lame tranchante ou un couteau ordinaire.
Oeuf pour brosser le bord, si vous utilisez.
Poivre noir fraîchement concassé

Thank you NInik, you are a smart cook/baker! You are the only one I see that uses gloves, I do as well! Less washing of hands and do not contaminate the dough. Bravo! I will try this recipe looks so good, I am always looking for a dough that I could possibly bake for my boyfriend who has just came down with Diabetic 2.

That just looks so good. I make my own specialty loafs loaded with spinach, cheese and garlic or bacon and cheese, or whatever we decide to come up with. But I definitely will try this recipe too. Thank you for sharing.

I made this with less sugar (20g, cud probably reduce more) n olive oil (I tried 1/4 of a cup) n wholemeal spelt flour n it was perfect. No butter. So if you after a slightly healthier version I would recommend those changes. But great recipe tho, comes out consistently fluffy n morish every time n my kids love it. Thanks 4 sharing.

I wanted to get into baking bread but all I had was garlic and cheese lol so this was just the perfect recipe! It was very easy to make and the dough was so easy to handle. It wasn't sticky at all, which is really my fav kind of dough because kneading a lot isn't fun for my arms. Hahaha. I used cheddar instead and added basil and thyme to the butter mix and also just a touch of salt, and it was AMAZING! The only thing I'd change is figure out a way for the flavors to seep in more inside the dough, if that makes sense, because I noticed the bread although soft doesn't have much taste, but still great! Thank you very much for sharing!

Thanks, Sofia! So glad you made it. I know why your bread doesn't have much taste. If you follow my recipe, the bread itself already have flavor plus the butter mixture between the crisscross pattern make it even better. You use different cheese, herbs and less salt. Did you use garlic and scallions? These two ingredients make the bread so tasty. Please adjust as you prefer. Most welcome!

I want to say thanks for this yummy recipe. I made it today. I added a little more water and kneaded the dough with as much flour as to make a nice soft dough. I let it rise. Did wonderful in about an hour. I added onion salt and dry parsley to my butter along with the garlic. And I used shredded mozzarella cheese. I let it rise again for about thirty five minutes then covered it lightly with foil and baked it for twenty five minutes, uncovered it and did about six minutes more. It is crispy, cheesy and tender. Yep! And it looks like a jar of drawn garlic butter with chives and a bag of shredded Mozzi are new staples in the fridge! Maybe top it with Pesto and Olive oil? Or dip it!

Hi there :) Thought I should let you know that your simple yet super delicious recipe left a lasting impression and fond memories on a several dozen minds yesterday. See, I was searching RU-vid looking for an easy to make bread recipe that wouldn’t take forever to complete or require fancy equipment, especially since I had 8 cute (8 to 10 year old helpers), 4 boys and 4 girls, at the local community center I volunteer at in between my travels every now and then in California. The yummy video cover picture got my attention first, and soon received the approval and all votes to go for cheese bread since it was a last minute idea for a summer camp team challenge. And with the cheers of my enthusiastic gang of eager little helpers all dressed up in adorable aprons with their hands scrubbed clean and their hair up...we took over the massive event kitchen at the center and started our project with gusto (prepared for it not to come out the way it looked in the video, but determined to do our best, enjoy making it...and looking forward to eating it anyway! :) We each prepared a large loaf (double the amount so we could share with others), and carved our initials in the dough loaded with cheese. We proudly marched in onto the theater ready to empress all the parents waiting in anticipation with video cameras...aaaaand hoping for some possible bragging rights for coming up with a very original idea than all the other teams. And MAN, it was awesome to find that every single loaf looked as good as the video (and proudly can say it looked even better being made by little hands), and smelled and tasted like bread heaven and pride in hard work that came out perfect. The delicious smell had everyone ready in anticipation of our reveal...and bragging rights and first place prize was ALL ours as we proudly shared pieces of our yummy creation with our admiring audience!! :) So, thanks for the deliciously yummy bread recipe...it was the most fun I’ve had with kids in quite sometime (since I volunteer with kids as my way of relaxing from the effects of my very stressful and demanding job), and will possibly be filed in my memory as the coolest activity I’ve ever been part of. Every single kid felt like a movie star with the widest grins on their happy faces and enough pride and confidence in themselves to make it a memorable event for each and every one of them for the rest of their lives. Thanks again! :)

So i did it. I baked it and if i knew there was a way to upload the pic of it, man it was just amazing. I have never tasted a bread that is as tasty as it turned out to be, given i don't even like eating bread so much. Thanks for the video.

Tried this a couple of days ago. Due to the enjoyment of some adult beverages we ended up putting "a little" to much cheese on it (ended up looking more like a thick pizza) This was amazing. Tried this today without cheese, still amazing!

I made this! I used a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar cheese. 1/2 teaspoon of salt in the garlic butter was far too much (and I used unsalted butter), next time I might use 1/8 teaspoon of salt. 20 minutes was too long for my oven, next time I might try ~15mins. Overall, I liked it. Thank you for the recipe!

Corte em pedaços pequenos. Podemos usar outro queijo se não estiver disponível em seu lugar. Manteiga de alho: 2 colheres de sopa de manteiga amolecida 1 tsp alho picado 2 colheres de sopa de cebolinha picada 1/2 colher de chá de sal Misture bem Uma lâmina afiada ou uma faca normal. I just tried this recipe! It tastes great. Instead of dry yeast I used fresh yeast though (was easier to find at my grocery store) and the bread was SUUUPER soft inside and crispy on the outside. Please do make sure you have a really sharp knife for the dough, was difficult to do with my regular knives.

I just made this recipe, it came out really nice! In my opinion, though, the bread tasted a little bit too sweet, so the next time I'll try to make it without the sugar. In combination with the milk and butter in it, it made the bread taste a bit too 'cakey' for my liking. Besides from that, great recipe though!

Yes, thought the same, a bit too sweet but I think sugar is needed for the yeast to rise? Will use less next time. Otherweise everybody loved it.

Just made this and it was delicious. One suggestion to those making it, flatten your dough a lot more than what it looks like in the video. Mine came out moist but too thick or I just didn’t slice into it deep enough to add the cheese. Still well worth it

Sounds great! If you flatten the dough too thin, the cheese will leak out a lot during baking.

The simple things are sometimes the best :) Sometimes you need a pizza heaped with all manner of things. Sometimes just a bit of garlic, cheese and a few herbs. Really nice way to get both crust and cheesy goodness! I'm saving this one.

Why is it that some do not put the "print" feature on their recipes!!! I actually did this recipe years back with dough in a can.... cut into cubes, and then dressed. I do like baking from scratch though....

It is a dough with one egg, butter and a little milk added; that's what makes it so special; and the topping, too, adds to its great taste! A Favourite which you can also make with many other ingredients of your taste, or even with just olive oil and sea salt!
