I made this yesterday following your recipe to the letter and it turned out absolutely delicious. Much thanks to the detail and description you put into your videos Sharmi.
Hi Sharmi👋,an old restaurant where I used to live is the only restaurant that has scrambled egg in,it’s lovely also lots ov fenugreek, the owner said it’s an old Bangladesh recipe ❤👍
Very clear and simple imstruction, easy to follow! Look amazing, i am a huge fan of jalfrezi and Indian cooking in general. I will definately try this recipe! Took me a long time to watch the video however as I was mesmerised by your beauty!😂 I had to keep going back and start again as I couldnt concentrate on the dish 😂😂
I hate to pick on southeast Asians but just let me leave a comment about how this is a recipe that I go repeatedly. I am sorry about the British that caused the partition. I am American but my ancestors were from England when we decided to colonise. Maybe we caused Hindu and Muslims to chop eat others head off, and burn each other Sikhs too! I am sure Bangledesh and Pakistan becoming countries made everything end and the war is over. At least we can come together though food. I am Muslim I eat halal so please just let me not have to bring up religion. We do have Bhindi Masala and the vegetarian recipes in common. No one probably knows I am muslims, but maybe some people are diabetic. My husband is and so It makes the most since if I dont make him feel like he's a burden because he's not and just find something he that accommodates his religion while slowing down the rate of his chronic illness.
I have to say, that you rock... So much detail, and play by play instructions. I will definitely try to make this dish, and have made you chicken Madras a little while ago, and it was a hit. Thank you and I tell you, trying to spread the word of your fantastic cooking skills and great u-tube channel. Totally a fan.
I had this for the first time yesterday and it was amazing. My wife and I love Indian food and had never heard of this dish before. This has become one of our favorites!
Thank you Sharmi! I was wondering if you were going to enlighten us as to the rather strange name "Jalfrezi" which I had never heard before. You certainly did not disappoint! Your presentation is as always excellent! 🍜🍜
Nicely done. I’ll follow this method. Can I ask about the tomato ketchup? I’m planning to add possibly tomato purée instead- I just don’t like the sweetness of the ketchup. Thanks again and great recipes 👍👍👍
