I’m so glad you’re doing more savory dishes. I’m temporarily staying somewhere so small that I need to keep my baking supplies in storage. But I can definitely still make some chicken piccata! Sounds good!
We made this last night and it was sooooo good! We used oregano since we didn't have capers or parsley and will definitely be putting this in the dinner rotation, thanks so much for the easy recipe and clear instructions.
This was super easy, but too lemony at 1/2 cup of lemon for me and my tribe. I ended up adding about 1.5 teaspoons of sugar to overcome the tartness and 4 tablespoons of butter at the end. Not sure if it was my wine that made it so tart? I used a chardonnay. I also added a little bit of cornstarch mixed with cold water to thicken the sauce. I like it to stick more to the noodles. But you are still my favorite chef and I am hopelesssly devoted to my favorite Virgo!
Today I have made powdered sugar using your method with blender. I am so thankful to you for that. Now I can make it so easily and in no time. A super hack!

My mom makes Picatta! I make it and my daughter loves it. The way we do is lol so not like this and so easy 🤣 we pound the potk chops thin... salt pepper flour it. Then dip in beaten eggs and into the pan to fry. Idk what it is but it's so good and so simple. Squeeze lemon onto it and done!

I watched to see how you did this, as opposed to how I make it. We do it exactly the same. This is soooo good! First time I made it? My DH asked if I would be insulted if he licked his plate. I told him there was more sauce, lol. I usually make with rice, but will now try with spaghetti.

This looks wonderful! Chicken piccata is a go-to for me and my husband, and this recipe looks easier than the one we usually use. I'm looking forward to trying it! How does the breading on your chicken not fall off/get mushy when you put it back in the sauce? That always happens to me, so I'm usually hesitant to put the chicken back in the pan after it's cooked.
John you have made enough baking videos, why don't you focus more on cooking savoury recipes in your future videos like you have in this one? I think you are an inspiration to us all and you pull it off so naturally making cooking and baking look so easy.
