Perpetua, you're Goan. OK , point taken. But Anglo lndians and the Burmese also have their versions of vindaloo. So Goans are not the sole custodians of this recipe. Kunal has a vegetarian following as well. They will just exclude the chicken, and l, the oatmeal, and have a vindaloo dish to accomodate their food restrictions. Any objections ? Your condescending tone n remark has not gone down well with a lot of us. Plz learn that courtesy costs nothing but a lack of it proves costly to one's image. Kunal has a lot of fans. Consider their sentiments as well. Good wishes to let you know we still wish you well.

Juned, yeh dish sirf Goa ka nahi hai. Anglo Indian, East lndian, Mangalore, Kerala, Burma, ka bhi versions hai. YT mei Vindaloo masala ka bahut recipes aur Goan ke alawa aur bhi versions milega aap ko. Usko ek baar bana kar fridge mei store kar sakte hai.

Yes, we do use potatoes in mutton, fish, egg, prawn and chicken vindaloo but not carrots. Go ahead and try it. We add boiled potatoes to the gravy when it simmers.
