Thanks for watching. We normally cook on charcoal; however, we find most gas grill are prone to flare up and burning. In our opinion getting the wings away from the direct heat on the has grill helps. (cooking on the top rack or indirect heat). Adding your favorite rub and sauce at the end is the best way to get the flavor to pop.

Good job. You guys got the right idea. A little sharper video (color is a little dull, and the autofocus kept shaking), tripod shots when you were showing the food and cooking. little jumpy with your editing transitions. Quick, Jumpy edits, and hand held camera looks good when youre making lots of scene changes very fast. If you think about it, the only difference between you guys and huge established channels is the look of video. Its not the number of followers that make a channel big, its big looking videos. I think yall have it. Its just techy, A/V stuff at this point. Once thats sorted out, id look into buying/putting your videos higher in folks search results with RU-vid. Call them up Make that subscribe emblem a hell of alot larger, and if yall have any other links stick them on that left side. You guys have a good chemistry, relax a bit more. I dont see why you guys couldnt generate some real interest in the channel. subbed, looking forward to some recipes in the future.

6:04 Wow, I can smell those wings all the way from here in England! Out of interest, how many wings do you get to a pound in the US? Most of the chicken parts that we have here in the supermarket look smaller than those in RU-vid videos I've seen from the US, so if I know, I can adjust my cooking times.
@bluffcitygrub
@bluffcitygrub 3 года назад
We typically get 4 whole wings per pound. Another option is to cook to an internal temp of 185F - 200F vs a timed cook. We prefer 190F for an internal temp and believe that this is the best way to cook them and keep them juicy. Check out the fried wing video for buffalo sauce unless you prefer the BBQ hot in this video.

I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ru-vid.comUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

In my opinion you definitely still get the that direct heat on the wings even though they are raised higher. We reference the oven to put people in the mind set of not rushing the wings. You could bake the wings if you are up for it. In our situation, we were at a cabin with no oven. All we had was a gas grill. Thanks for your feedback and watching our video.
