I just made your recipe and I was very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to make and how delicious it was! I've made chickpea tortillas/wraps before but this recipe using plant milk and baking powder made it so much better! I like that they are a little puffy and not flat like the other wraps I've made. Thank you for the demonstration video and the recipe! 🌷
Ahh, thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. So pleased you enjoyed the video and recipe. Yes I completely agree they are so much tastier with the baking powder. Again thanks and glad you enjoyed the video and recipe. Xxx
Yes you are right! This video was made some time ago and if you watch my more recent videos you will notice I use organic olive oil only. Plus the sunflower oil was organic which I know still isn't good for us but it's better than ordinary oil. Also this was probably the only oil in the house at the time and the video was made quite some time ago. Thanks for your comment and I hope you enjoyed the video. Best wishes xxx
❤ Thankyou very much for the recipe, just made them for my lunch. They cooked very quickly, and looked perfect. They taste a bit grainy but I didn't expect them to feel like bread. I used about 70 grm of the chickpea flour and about 100 ml of semi skimmed milk. I made 3 small pancakes. Is it possible to undercook them ? , they cooked really quick. 😊
Ahh thank you for your comment I really appreciate it. Yes I have cooked large chickpea flour wraps before and they have been a bit wet in the middle. They didn't kill me but the are better when there's no batter in the middle. 😜😜😜 It's best to cook smaller ones or turn the pan down half way through to stop larger ones from burning. Again thanks for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Take care. Xxx
@@lesleyblack-xh5ju yes I did make two with 60 grams of chickpea flour. Hope this helps you. Off to bed soon so may not reply as quickly if you need me again. 😂😜😂😜 Xxx
Hi Judy, thank you for your lovely comment and I'm really pleased you enjoyed the video. If you make these wraps then good luck and let me know how it goes! Again thanks and take care! Xxx
Nice recipe To make it more nourishing I mix millet flour along with chicpea flour which one can use as chicken or egg rolls along with veggies shredded It's really superb
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. I must try the millet flour with the egg. It sounds interesting. Again thank you for your comment, I appreciate it and glad you liked the video. Xxx
Thanks for sharing!! Although just FYI Beans/Peas don't combine well with Eggs or other proteins (milk) because they will be difficult to digest. This wisdom comes from Ayurvedic food combining, and I have definitely found it to be true!
Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it. I have studied Ayurvedic food as well and I have also had a hair test. Hair test can give you a clear indication of what foods suit you. they can now tell what your last meal was after you died. So that's how accurate it is. I really think that it depends on person to person. My hair test results showed that I was ok to eat beans/lentils/chickpeas together with oat milk. My son also had a hair test done and he is not so good on these foods. He needs to eat higher proteins and healthy fats. Ayurvedic food has brilliant principles but again I think it really depends on person to person. Again thanks for your comment and I will try to take this view into consideration when making a video like this recipe. But it's not always easy to do so. Take care. Xxx
If you do more video recipes, please use a silicone utensil, the scraping noice is very unpleasant unlike your recipe which is an every day useful bread to have 🌷🇬🇧🌷
Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it. I have been told about the spoon thing, sorry and I have taken note for further videos. Again thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Xxx
Great, glad to read this comment. These are delicious savoury or sweet. You can add jam or cream cheese and also eggs too. Personally I think they are a great bread alternative. Good luck and enjoy!!! Xxx
@@GoogiesKitchen You will be pleased to know I made this easy recipe for lunch with cream of potato celery soup. Delicious. I used a bit more milk too (only had full cream cows milk). A new recipe I give a tick to. Thanks. 😋😋
@@skye8394 great, you are right I'm very pleased to hear it too. I'm really glad you like the recipe. Thank you so much for watching I really appreciate your views. Xxx

@@GoogiesKitchen I'm Gluten intolerant. So good to have a quick reliable recipe for bread. I made some immediately and they were so good. Do you have more Gluten Free recipes ? Thank you so much.
@@carolcollins3108 hi carol, I'm so pleased I could help you. If you go to my blog www.googieskitchenlife.com there's loads of gluten free recipes on there. Again so pleased I could help you and glad you enjoyed the recipe! Xxx
Thank you for your comment and yes you are right. But I actually think it depends on the person. I recently had a hair test done. They can now tell what your last meal was after you died. So it's a very accurate way of telling whether there is anything wrong. At the moment I'm getting all of my vitamins and minerals that I need. If I was drinking to much sugar from the oat milk I wouldn't necessarily be absorbing them. Therefore I don't think there is anything wrong with oat milk for me. If I ate a lot more sugar I would be worried. So yes you are right but I don't think it's affecting me. Thanks again for you comment, I really appreciate it. Xxx
Yeah sorry about the spoon scraping. I'm glad you enjoyed the video in the end and the salad wrap sounds interesting. Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it. Xxx
@Googies Kitchen I live in dubai and chickpea flour comes at a dime a dozen out here. Been cutting calories and realised it has a bit less than wheat/all-purpose flour plus more natural. This will help alot with this diet if I don't mess up the receipe hahah
@@papafituae Well done on cutting calories and good luck with the recipe. A good non stick pan and a little bit of oil should help. It may take a few goes to get it right but I'm sure you will get there in the end. Xxx
Hi Giselle, yes try it and see. I just guess how much liquid I need. Most of the time it works out well. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video. Xxx
Thanks! I didn't realise I was getting marked on my teaspoon skills, next time I'll be more carefull. 😂😂😂 Again thanks for watching and glad you liked the recipe! xxx
