I still can't get over it. They're down by 10 with 7 minutes left in the game to one of the greatest defenses ever assembled, and rip off 21 unanswered points in the next 5 1/2 minutes. This was awesome in every sense of the word.
It's the Seattle D they run. Sherman and the Seattle secondary with the same defence that 49ers run melted down in SB 49 with a 10 point lead as well, its just everyone forgets about that INCLUDING the LOB because of RWs pick to end the game.
I freaking love my team. Andy is a goat, never one bad word said about him from players. He truly let's his players be themselves, letting their personalities shine bright.
That is definitely a DETRIMENT to Andy. Letting the players be themselves has cost Andy many chances to win Superbowls. It is SO EASY to let your players be themselves when you have a QB that is a Hall of Famer in his 3rd season.
@@hawksfan5 I truly dont think this is a detriment. This is a sentiment to the great person he is. Did you hear about Kareem Hunt getting pulled over and what he reportedly said to the cop. That ever since he was basically forced out of KC that he has gone downhill. Andy tried with a guy and made him so happy and made him believe and he was forced out because of a stupid, preventable decision. I dont doubt that once Kareem becomes a free agent he will find a way to come back to Andy Reid and make up for his mistakes and make things right to the both of them
@@Dawesome97 I'm not talking about the person he is. It has been a negative thing for his coaching career you cannot dispute this. It literally cost him SBs letting the players be themselves. He has an all time legendary QB this time so he won but think about if he had a weak minded QB and Tyreek Hill is LITERALLY GIVING UP ON THE SIDELINES IN THE SB
Thank you Travis. It was one of the best moments of my life. I got to share Sunday night with my dad who gave me my love for the chiefs. I’ve been watching with him through the joy and the pain for 30 years. Thank you. It was worth it all
Surf Torture I got to share the same feeling with my Dad too. I’m 36 about to be 37. He’s been a fan since his teenage years and myself since about 7. It was such a joy to watch them win together after all the years of emotional tortures and roller coaster years. You’re exactly right it was all worth the suffering. Congratulations to all Chiefs fans living and passed.
This is one of the best interviews I've ever heard. Sports related or not. That Jimmy Johnson analogy is the perfect way to deal with pressure, no matter what type. Never fear the fall.
It was pre-ordained. I know because about 6 weeks ago I cracked open a fortune cookie and it read, "Your sports team will be very successful this year". I saved it and I'm going to frame it with the final score and date.
Terry Owens never said a bad word about Andy as much as he fought all Philadelphia Eagles management. Mick Vick was done with NFL and Andy gave him a second chance.
i remember Travis Kelce was mad after chiefs drafted and planed to start mahomes, he wanted them to stick with alex smith. good thing kelce isn't a GM.
He and Alex were close, so I think in the moment he was kind of upset about Alex getting pushed out. He and Pat are great friends off the field though, so I think he would tell you (obviously) its all worked out. The guys are still close with Alex as well. Like Travis said in the interview, winning the Super Bowl was a win for everyone who ever played for Andy.
