Heading into double ot rule change just happened two or three years before this year and no game has went into double ot in the Super Bowl and 99.99999% of the ppl just assumed the game was over when it hit 00.00 cuz none of us has seen it being implemented before? @@MrCkim0629That rule regarding double OT never changed. The only difference in the rule is that both teams get a full possession even if the first team scores a TD. The only reason many people didn’t know the double OT rule is because it was just never used in recent memory, and never when the first team had a lead.
