@@daliaribsThis does not seem to be accurate. Is there evidence of your statement that we can all easily see? I'm not saying that you are a liar, I just haven't seen or heard anyone else state this about her, & none of the people on her channel have seemed "wealthy".

I’m a donor conceived person and have over 20+ (discovered) half siblings around the world. Luckily, me and my two full biological brothers that I grew up with have always know about being from a sperm donor but I cannot say the same for many of our donor siblings. Thank you guys for sharing your story! Being a donor conceived person (DCP) can be a really confusing, emotional, and somewhat isolating journey despite it being much more common than we think. It’s crazy thinking about how relaxed donor laws used to be and still are.

This is eerily similar to the youtuber Myah Alanna's story. Her and her hundreds of siblings were all conceived via a donor in Jersey, who lied on his documents and never disclosed the many physical and mental genetic illnesses that these children would be at risk of developing. Myah lives or lived in Maryland so her and some of her sisters may love to do this pod bc they already went on Kate & Oliver Hudsons podcast but there's lots more to discuss. They're trying to spread awareness of potential dangers bc his donor sperm's been used for decades resulting in many unwell offspring whilst they're also at risk of unkowingly dating eachother. I hope she reaches out if she sees this ep bc their story's both incredibly scary & heartwarming and imo deserves way more attention

I don't understand why parent's make up lies about who the children's fathers are, where theY come from. I am sure they see it as protecting them but it seems extremely cruel to hide a living breathing biological father from someone. Even if the father is in prison, dead, s bad person , we all deserve to know the truth of our origins. I met this guy recently & he said he had two daughters, one he raised since she was two weeks old. She has no idea that's not her real father.. I don't understand how they can look that little girl in the eyes & just play pretend to be her dad. Knowing there's a man out there alive that she may be curious to know his family.

I have two moms and I was concieved via a sperm donor. I was born in Indianapolis in 1999. I seen the Vice documentary about a sperm donor with 20-25+ known kids, I believe he was based in the PNW of America. They promised him his sperm would only be used in his area and for a limited number of cases, but they lied and used it on the other side of America and way more than they should have for the populus size in his area. These kind of videos of people finding multiple siblings has me wanting to do a 23 and me or some kind of commercialized genealogy to see what’s out there.

I received my celiac diagnosis because 23 & Me confirmed that I carry one of the known genes for it. I never would have known I had it and would have still been doing damage to my body without this information.

I'm pursuing single motherhood by choice and the fertility doctor I'm seeing requires people who use a donor to speak with a specialist on donation and how to talk to your child about it. I was never going to hide that from my kid, which the specialist said was highly recommended. I also went with a more ethical bank that limits the number of families that receive donor sperm because I don't want my child(ren) to be an adult and finding out they have dozens of half siblings.

My brother and I have been talking about doing 23 and me before he has kids ( and eventually me ) since we both had cancer under 30. It would be hilarious if we found out we had extra siblings , we are italian and french so we already have a massive family. The more the merrier for us 😂😂

I am the product of an extra marital affair and at 38 have zero interest in looking for my sperm donor or any genetic siblings. I chose not to submit to any DNA database because it's a can of worms I don't want to open.

That actually did happen to my uncle, he did 23 and me and found half siblings, all of whom found out through this that their dad was not faithful. All of this was after his death, all of the siblings were in their 50s
