Grew up during the Viet Nam war/cold war, bomb shelters, duck & cover in school. Thought at any moment the mushroom clouds would be on the horizon & would end all life. We did all the drugs we could get our hands on to bear the frustration of a life taken from us. We vowed to change the world and live in peace & harmony without prejudice without hunger or pain. The wealthy & corporations became as powerful as gods. Now we realize the spawn of the wealthy were our age but just as evil and influential. Our generation did a lot of good things that the government is trying to undo. Women's rights, voting rights, clean air & water. Save the bald eagle, grey wolves, no nukes, the best music. Little by little organized religion has become a dangerous tool to control our society. We gave our blood sweat & tears & lives. Your generation has to fight hard and so does the next generation. Guess it never ends. Don't give up or they win. I hope for your generation's sake things turn out right. Just don't stop fighting.
