These videos are so SO important to watch even if you aren't being accused of these crimes. They will help you avoid being in a situation where you could be falsely charged in the first place.
.....because if you are required to register as a violent sexual predator (the sex offender registry) for these crimes, get ready to lose everything! Not just your freedom, but also your safety, your sanity, your social status, and very definitely, your trust and your reputation as well. And being on a sex offender registry means massive amounts of restrictions so intolerable and so unbearable, that you won't be able to live another day with them at all, and you want to make your final exit. There were severe horror stories of convicted child molesters being badly shanked or killed in prison for years. Don't end up like that!
Some of these crimes (especially child porn crimes) can be 1st degree felonies - similar to Murder 1 - and that means you can face up to 15-20 years - to up to life in prison. But the worst thing that can happen with 1st degree felonies of this nature - is a lifetime sex offender black mark to your name - that is, if you get life in prison and you do get any chance of parole or probation. When you get out of prison on parole or probation - you have to register or you end up back behind bars! The lesson - don't perpetrate chomo crimes in the first place!
But whatever law is saids here, here is ONLY applied to Texas law, but not other states as different states has different law. Different state is the same as different countries.
Because everybody in the United States has the right to counsel. False or exaggerated claims happen a lot, so imagine if somebody just pointed at you and said ‘monster!’ would you still share the same sentiment?
Dude, you clearly haven’t taken a course in civics. The United States is founded on freedom and right to due process, to include even the worst of crimes. Everybody has the right to counsel.
