"I will never give Damian up." In the DC Animated Film Universe: *Dumps Damian on Bruce once he's old enough to be rebellious with no warning and leaves*
And then tries to kill him a couple movies later while trying to take over the world by brainwashing Batman. Really hated her in that movie. Her character made no sense for how Talia is usually like.
At least in this Universe Talia and Ra's seem like loving family members. It's also implied they left the League when Damian was born, so at least they're trying to give him a decent childhood.
You can’t really blame Damian for they way he is in media. This is an example of other Superheroes children that are given space to grow and Damian is a a place where he was taught to kill the moment he was born.
Not only trained to kill but treated as royalty and i guarantee they didnt give him social skills. Also he's like 10 in most things. So you got the inflated ego of a 10 year old assassin prince to deal with. Yet people hate him because hes mean. I think he has the potential to be the greatest batman of all time if he can just lose the ego. Which is often why he loses most fights.
@@Amoogus I think people hate him because he killed Nightwing in Injustice and the games doesn’t help his case. Also I think his ego comes from being Batman’s son so he has some of Batman in him.
@@CoolIguess5 oh I forgot about injustice. I honestly hate the whole storyline. It's like every single character at their worst or just plain out of character. Just lazy writing and Nightwing's stupid death is just confirmation to me.
@@Amoogus Honestly for what it is I like it. Especially since the games are so fun but I hate that they got so popular that people started taking it as the best adaptations of characters. They literally tried putting evil Superman in the movies like BVS. I am so glad there are good modern Superman adaptations like Superman and Lois and My Adventures with Superman and Hopefully James Gunn’s Superman Legacy. The cast looks great and hopefully it ends the whole evil Superman trope.
@CoolIguess5 yeah I totally agree. I can see liking injustice but it just screams "batman fanfiction" to me. BVS has always been stupid to me considering superman could Lazer an entire continent from orbit. Batman vs superman doesn't work unless you ruin one of the characters. But I really hope they bring back compassionate Batman from the animated series. I'm so sick of evil superman and asshole Batman.
A toddler with super speed would be tripping over their own feet, but now at 90 mph. Heck, they'd not be able to stop right away, slam into a wall, and either cry or laugh and start slamming into the wall repeatedly as super speeds
Probably halve good and bad. Bad for Damian cause he doesn't talk too much of his other parent and grandfather since they are bad influence on him, but also good because those two can tag team with different bad guy. For me I would like to see if Icecle Jr. has gone straight and good and found a girl who loves him and might join YJ as free member since he and Superboy/Conor are frienemies
@goliathgar4985 actually John and Damien have some of the best interactions check on some if the supersonic comics or I guess comicstorian if u just want to watch then. They pretty funny and entertaining and have decent character development
and a few years later she hands him.over to his dad after she's done killing his innocence, she's the worst "mother" in history she shouldn't be allowed within 20 meters of an infant
Bruh red arrow didn't deserve that. Single fathers go through so much. They already have a stigma from society that being a single a male parent is wrong.
@@critica77y77 in this scene he IS a single dad though. Cheshire bails and even he sees her and asks her to come back, she tells him she's not coming back.
"Its tough being the only dad in the room." "Really now?" "Yes. Should i present how many times im looked at like a creep that potentially kidnapped my own kid?"
He can't relate to them like they relate to each other. His story is slightly different from the rest and as soon as he's vulnerable about it, he's cut down. 😵💫😵💫
@@Reaper12131maybe but he’s basically the only one raising his baby. Being the breadwinner and raising a kid alone is the hardest thing anyone can do, they’re dicks for cutting him down like that (especially after the whole arc of him finding out he is a clone)
This Talia hasn't shown any hint of doing that yet. Heck, she might get actually offed, giving Damian a thirst for revenge. Something Bruce knows how to temper and quiet.
@@KiraSlith to be fair in the comics being with cruce did temper him and led to one of the best robin runs in my ppinion, year of redemption, where damian spends a year travelling the world to try to right wrongs he did under the al ghuls. Also being dicks robin made him more personable with others, then becoming best friends with jon kent taught him how to be a good friend and a be a better person. And honestly thats pretty dam good since hes only like what 10 or 12 in super sons. I mean he spent his first 8 years of life being turned into the greatest weapon of the league of assassins, and it took 4 years with the batfamily to return him to humanity
@@angeduardoforeromeroHe is the child of Rocket and a non-superhero father. Later in Season 4 we discover he has autism, which is why he reacts like this
@@cal-un8bd Cause their woman, a lot of women don't realist, that men have time to do dumb stuff, cause we don't spend time imagining or dreaming up ways, our partner wronged us, just to then carry a grudge because of it
Not all of us are like this. I wish they would stop putting it in media. It almost feels like some things straight up encourage that behavior. It is Not acceptable.
I really like this kinda idea Just showing what it’s like in everyday life without all the heightened action and stuff I’ve always been a fan of this kinda stuff
Damn. I feel bad for Jason Todd, bro got tortured for 2 years from 13-15 and then got killed and resurrected and forced to fight as as an assassin with super strength for 5 years before he finally got his memories back.
@@popeye697 Red hood in the comics has enhanced strength due to the specific Lazarus pit he was dropped into having magical properties that transferred into him. It is confirmed when supergirl tried to punch him and he blocked it. She looked into his body and noticed it had some inhuman properties
@@Alternative_Alba Well firstly, she herself stated that she didn't punch at full power, but she still punched at a level no human should be capable of getting up from let alone stopping. Secondly, enhanced can mean practically anything.
@@Alternative_Alba his body is physically around amazonian level after the lazarus pit gave uim soul control and strengthened his body. He can fight on par with artemis the teen amazonian in the outlaws series
I love that red tornado in this universe is so good with kids it unexpectedly fits his character I personally believe he helps out at an orphanage or kindergarten as his job in this universe
I like it. It shows that this is a community. People in the life with families mutually supporting each other. And it shows Mera as humble. She is not more or less important here than any other parent.
Everyone hated Damian initially, no different than any new Robin and soon kinda grow out of that once they show up in more media where they get fleshed out.
@@cub_q7410 He was raised under the assumption he would be the leader of said cult being the leader was told to him since birth of course he's arrogant
@@cub_q7410 he has that attitude BECAUSE he was raised by an assassin cult. wtf type of question is that? like the other guy said, he was raised under the assumption that he would eventually become the head of that cult. he was raised as royalty too, mix that together and you get an arrogant boy that was brainwashed since he was born.
Yes! I seriously need them to pick up another season and go back to Jason and Damien’s plot lines. I remember feeling heartbroken when I saw Jasons hologram and thought they might just skip over him. I guess they need to age him up a bit more first
Impulse's Dad to impulse: "Behave, young man! I have changed your diapers when you were just a baby!" Impulse: "So have I, Dad. I have also seen you and aunt, both literally shit yourself and have also changed your diapers. 🗿"
Then Lady Shiva offed him and explained that if they wanted to just kill all the heroes, they would’ve done that a long time ago. It’d be too easy. But the Light understands that you don’t subjugate the world by killing heroes. Ironically, that only immortalizes them into martyrs and icons, which are much harder to destroy. You do it through subtle manipulations and machinations in the shadows, which is how the Light always seems to stay at least one step ahead all the time
It was never cancelled. The writers are just waiting on the green light for the next season. But, DC is just super focused it's movie quality and release dates right now.
Fun fact one of the lights plans was to kill the justice League kids but they voted against it after realizing that it would cause the hero's to retaliate
they called it the nuclear option. and rightly so. it would be injustice world on steroids. or even all out war that could even wipe out all life on the planet. light just know better than doing that.
And it would be the "Kill or be fucking killed" retaliation. We know what happens when someone kills "just" Loise. There wouldn't be a place to hide in the entire universe or multiverse.
Based on how we saw Bruce with Dick, this is probably one of the chiller bat families, and he does love all the kids he's raised and trained. He's not a bad dad.
He was only really that harsh on Grayson which we saw in the first season being worked on... I'd imagine with what they've shown, after he grew up and the others started coming along... Barbara, Jason, Tim, Cass, Bruce is a lot softer on them.
Counterpoint Supes kid is the scariest thing: superspeed, invulnerability, super strength, super genius intelligence and photographic memory etc plus telekinesis.
The only one who wouldn’t go crazy enough to flat out kill them is batman and maybe the flash but he can torture them in multiple other ways so nah bad idea all around
@@AlmightyKevo Flash would kill if his entire family was murdered in front of him 100%,he may be one of the most moral characters in DC but he would 100% murder them all
Funny how when Will (I think that's his name) says it's difficult being the only Dad there, all the women simultaneously question him and prove his point.
For context: the guy who caught the 2 kids at the beginning of the video is from the future; so the blonde haired child is actually his biological father and the women who has the same hair and eye colour as him is his biological grandmother
@@amyschildgamerlive4519 The show actually explains it. People who are exposed to chronoton radiation are immune to changes in the timeline. Bart was exposed cuz of his time machine.
