One thing my husband and I have realized is that we are not prepared for times like this. The first thing we are going to get when we can get out is a generator. I know I saw hot dogs and buns in the freezer. Buns are never right after being in the freezer though. This looks like a great way to use those up! And I have just enough time to thaw it out before dinner. Yum!!!

Howdy from Houston TX! Thank you so much for sharing this. I panic bought two packs of hamburger buns and one pack of hotdog buns just to have bread at home. The only thing I could come up with was sandwiches and peanut butter on hot dog bun with a banana for a banana peanut sandwich. Awesome casserole you came up with. You’re so kind and thoughtful always thinking of others. Sun is coming up and it looks like it’s going to be a very nice day today. Going to grocery store today to stock up refrigerator on all the things I had to throw away. This will be something nice to serve.
