Okay.. So I just finished watching this video 3x's and I sat down and made this! I cook for an institution and the men Loved it!! That cinnamon and brown sugar was a hit! We didn't have chili powder but I used cayenne pepper instead.. I never had it myself before😁😁 Can't wait to do it Again!! "City girl in North Carolina"
I will definitely try this! I roasted halves today with brown sugar butter cinnamon and after I took them out drizzled with honey. Took about 50 minutes for 6 halves.
Nice video. I would adjust the seasonings as you suggested. I wanted to print out a recipe for Thanksgiving because it is a busy day and couldn't find this recipe via a direct link. That would make this perfect instead of having to search your website and deal with pop ups! Thank you
My sister-in-law brought me for acorn squash I've never fixed before in my life and I have done all kinds of canning and I have also fixed other squash but never acorn squash I hope I do it right how many recipes do you have to make acorn squash you make super can you add other stuff besides this recipe this one looks amazing
I just made the squash with substitutes, and it is so delicious. I substituted coconut sugar instead of brown sugar and added maple syrup as a molasses substitute. I used avocado oil instead of olive oil. I absolutely love it! Thanks!!!
@@CalibamaCookingwithChefLorious thank you so much for this. I just got my farm box with an acorn squash inside and I love finding good and new ways to make them. I love this way and I’m looking forward to making this !
That looks a whole lot easier to cut than butternut squash! Butternut will 1000% come for you and your fingers, but it’s so good! I’ll have to try this.
Thank you very much. Your explanation was super easy to follow and you were 100% right to add the chili powder. This tasted so good as a side dish and snacking on it. I wonder if there's away to make these thinner, to bake them like chips, but with the same exact tasty seasoning? Thank you again!
