I read somewhere a long time ago that she actually quit because she wasn’t happy with the growth (or lack there of) of her character. That makes this all the more sweet. Part of me wishes she had gotten to play the new Zelda from the get go because she would have done son much with it. It would have been redemption.

@@zetyra8336 Miranda Otto is awesome too though. She’s the only reason I watched season 1 of this show (but quit after). I love the OG Zelda too. She is of course a vastly different Zelda. She’s like my TV mom back in the day. She was so easy going and soothing. But I wouldn’t disparage Miranda Otto’s performance. She is brilliant. They both are. They’re my favs in both versions of the show.

Same I saw the aunties and just thought Faustus must have cursed the aunties to be old or something and didn't question them as the aunties as they're obviously the aunties. and only Sabrina's confusion clued me in that I simply remembered them so well from the old series that my brain went "obviously those are aunt Hilda and Zelda".

It's because they couldn't get enough edgy people to watch it. I mean I love the series and I'm a big fan of it but there are even times that I'm like okay this is too dark. But the problem is with the WB is that they think everything has to be dark like Batman. Which is why all their superhero films even if their light-hearted character like green arrow they turn him into some douche with extreme man pain. Which is why after the first two seasons Arrow just dropped on views. They need to quit with the whole dark edgy shit. There's a reason why Marvel and Marvel shows do a hell of a lot better than DC or anything with the WB. Why do you think Riverdale is so shit and they're probably going to end up ruining Nancy Drew as well. Not everything has to be super dark and edgy. And I think that's the reason why in this last season that they brought in the OG cast of the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch to try to save the show but it didn't work. They need to just quit with the dark edgy shit.
