It would be interesting to find out if the water test failed because of structural defects on the watch itself, or because of a faulty seal which was not fit properly or could be easily replaced with a better seal or gasket.
With such quality most of people would buy, not everyone is a diver ... as long it is high quality and can stand up 50m , then it is great and more than enough

For me its 100 meters and a screw down crown minimum if im bringing a watch near water. My first auto was a seiko 5 srpa11k1 diver rated to 100m. Moisture made its way in while i was washing the dishes. Couldnt believe my eyes.
We need to stop criminals like ziarex from selling mega-clone replica watches because selling mega-clone replicas with the same serial number as the original watch is illegal.
Ironically it's probably the helium escape valve that leaked! Unless the caseback seal failed, generally if serviced these are all fine to get wet. Besides on the TD websites they're all only stated 50m waterproof which is basically, yeah, it can get wet, but don't take it underwater.
No it wouldn’t. If what I think you mean is right dive watches need to be at least 200m. The way depth ratings work isn’t just like you can take a 30m watch 30m deep. A 30m watch shouldn’t even touch water
Sports Divers are 30m!?..What?..no they're not.. Seiko had a 150m that was seen as the minimum for a diver..200m to get certified, 300m for deep diver.. I don't like getting in the shower with a 50m rated watch.. 200m OK for recreational scuba
@@mrmagoo.3678 There are no real advantages going deeper than 30m. It's getting darker, and you need to plan stops when going up to the surface again. Also, your O2 consumption increases dramatically. Hence, for sport divers it makes no real sense to go any deeper; professionals on the other hand are diving to fullfill a job, not for entertainment. But going deeper than 100m requires special equipment and is extremely dangerous. As for watches, the water resistance is tested to higher pressures for fail safety within their scope.

Do these factories like ARF make good version 16610 (5 digit) as good as the current versions 126610? I like the older versions of the watch more than newer one, but I think the newer versions are better rep than the old versions.

Lets behonest as long as its 10bar water proof itll be fine for the average user i.e swimming showering etc ..u would not be wearing this if u were an avid diver in the first place
Cancel ziarex and mega clone watches. They are destroying the whole community of original watches and becoming a threat to the economy and dignity of Rolex.
