Imagine if he would of had the courage to sing b4 he wrote all those hits for so many country stars!! Thank goodness his wife finally pushed him out there & joined him in some! She's been there for the whole journey!! Love it!! ♡♡♡♡
I'M 64 YEARS OLD & GREW UP ON THE MUSIC OF THE 60"S & 70'S (COUNTRY INCLUDING BLUEGRASS, ROCK, FOLK, R&B, MOTOWN, GOSPEL & JAZZ). CHRIS STAPLETON IS SECOND TO NO ONE VOCALLY FOR ME! BTW HE ALSO IS ONE HELLUVA SONGWRITER & MUSICIAN. AS A MATTER OF FACT HE IS HIS OWN GENRE. PERIOD!!!!!!!!! THAT'S WHY CHRIS STAPLETON IS ONE OF OUR LIVING LEGENDS. OVER THE YEARS OF MY LIFETIME THEY HAVE BEEN FEW & FAR BETWEEN. THAT'S EXACTLY WHY HE HAS EARNED MY ADMIRATION & RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd heard Chris Stapleton's name, but never really listened to him sing until I started listening to a lot people like yourself doing reaction videos. I cant believe I never listened to him til now. That boy got some soul.
Most folks, even die-hard music fans have no idea how hard it is to simply play a guitar, and sing into a mic for a crowd, w/o all the electronics; no less crush it like Chris does.
You are so right. Chris Stapleton and Stevie Ray Vaughan were both so much better live. They fed off the energy from the crowd and felt free to spice it up and change it around live. I pray Chris is with us longer than SRV was, but only God knows why SRV had to leave us so soon. Who knows, maybe he would have relapsed hard so God took him while he was clean. I love them both so much.
I have asked for so many people to react to this video because to me this really shows how good of a singer/songwriter that Chirs Stapleton is. Thanks for the reaction.
Honestly you could have not said a word. Your facial expressions throughout the song said it all. I can tell how much you appreciate his talent since the first time you heard him. He never disappoints. Keep 'em coming. 👍
I love how it's an actual react video and not somebody pausing every 3 seconds to state their opinion after every word. Thank you for that. And another great video btw!
As a professional singer/ songwriter... You get it. You understand what it is we do. I would be willing to guess that you too, have a few songs in you... God Bless you, sir..In Jesus' sweet name.
Much respect to you. I stumbled across this while watching some of his other videos. I was expecting a completely different reaction. You're an intelligent man. Thank you for respecting such a professional as Chris.
I wish Chris Stapleton and John Mayer would do flooding down in Texas or pride and joy cover of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Mayor on the guitar and Stapletons Voice
Shout out, Holla!!! I love that you shouted out! Thank you! 💗You bring some positivity to my sometimes hard days as a nurse. Getting to watch you discover music that I love, is like watching someone open a gift you gave them. ( I love to give gifts). I didn’t give you the music, but I get the joy of watching you experience the beauty that only music can keep giving. That’s music and it connects us. Every culture around the world has music. It lives in our soul.
Mad respect for you for being a nurse. When I work in the hospital. I do things for you guys without ever telling you (change soiled sheets, get ice, water, change a depend, get and extra pillow, turn a patient so they wont get bed sores, donn/doff cpm, trach suction, etc. No lie. I know you guys do so much and deserve so much more than what they pay you.
Modern Renaissance Man - thank you so much for that, on behalf of all nurses. It’s so nice to give each other a helping hand on healthcare teams. Remind me- are you a talk therapist or Respiratory Therapist? I can’t remember. Either way, thank you for everything you do.
You should check out the song called: "Where Rainbows Never Die" by the Steeldrivers. The song is absolutely beautiful, and I think you'd like it. Btw, the Steeldrivers are Chris's old band; and Chris sung the song that I'm referring to. (If you decide to check it out, listen to the studio version).
Chris Stapleton said he became a song writer to make money so he could play his music .... WELL MR STAPLETON YOU MY FRIEND HAVE ACCOMPLISHED so much and then some . I have learned to love country any understand it and the feeling to me is much like soul music . And I mean real country and soul not today’s pop whatever ... and this guy is all of that put together.
PLEASE do "Either Way" by him. It's such a slow beautiful song then BAM, hits you LOL. It's great. ANYTHING he does is great, but "Either Way" is one of my top 5 of his!
He's a rare artist that is a lot of the time better live. Country in general seems to be pretty good at having artists who are just as good If not better live.
Another great video.👍👍 Chris Stapleton is a breath of fresh air on today’s music. Tbh. And I’m telling you, you’ve gotta react to Dwight Yoakam “Buenas Noches from a Lonely Room” or “Ain’t that Lonely Yet “ but I seriously do love your videos, even if you don’t do these songs. God bless.
Please do a reaction video to Chris Stapleton's song Either Way. It's another one where it's just Chris and his guitar like this one. He's better than most musicians/singers that have a big band with them. He's an amazing talent. Everyone was crazy over Garth Brooks in the 90's, but Chris Stapleton has Garth beat to pieces with just his voice and guitar, no theatrics needed, just raw unadulterated, pure talent. I feel so blessed that I get to listen to him everyday.
I get such a kick out of you and your open mind. Have you listened to any Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats?? I can't even pick out a favorite song- S.O.B., Howling at Nothing, Hey Mama, I Need Never Grow Old, You Worry Me. I mean an actual band with some soul and talent! Some fun videos to watch, too.
Loved this reaction! Love the song. How about a reaction to 'Hard To Handle' by The Black Crowes? It has great vocals, great guitar solos and has a great feel. Keep it up and all the best!
Sad the hear that we in the UK seem to have imported the idiotic shouting out, whooping and whistling during what is meant to be an intimate performance.
Have you heard his version of “Drink a Beer”??? He wrote it, I forget who sung it, then a year or 2 Chris dies it and it’s better than the guy he wrote it fir
you need to hear his other songs live - not this concert - re Whiskey and You - great song - here's a link to simple version that is so more profound ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tn8nmQfnzmc.html
