As much as we hated being in the house we tended to come in and out. THAT, Mama was not having...mom would always end up saying if you come back in, you're in for the rest of the day...and WE NEVER wanted to be in! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️Life is so different now...

When I was a child....which was DECADES ago.....we were outside ALL DAY during the summer and on weekends when school was in session. I have MANY fond memories of the imagination my brothers and sisters had when we played outside. We were NEVER bored!

This was a great video. I loved Sarah's pretty white crochet shirt ❤! I just told my son we're going to enjoy the backyard for a bit today. When I asked him the last time he stepped foot outside and he couldn't tell me, he understood! I'm enjoying my blueberry flavored cream soda! I made it immediately after watching the video. This is an excellent way to use leftover whipping cream before it expires!!! Thanks so much 👏🏽!

As a gastric bypass patient since 1991; I stay away from anything carbonated. The gassed can expand your stomach. The recipe looks yummmy though. But thought I’d share that for others who may has gastric weight loss surgery who may be watching. We’ve had a surge in cases in our area; the opening has been uncontrolled and nobody is taking the virus serious. :p. So I am staying in with you guys. Lol

Agree on the outside for kids. When I was a kid, I got busted for not coming home or being in the woods and my mom yelled abd I didn't hear her. we are tightening up the internet use after 10 pm. Time to learn how to enjoy reading.

My sister and I played softball with the boys in the neighborhood, we'd ride bicycles to the little store about halfway to town. We'd stay outside alllllll day long, sometimes just laying on the grass and looking at the clouds. If we were hot we'd find a place in the shade. Houses didn't have air conditioners when I was a kid and not many did even when I got married and moved from Virginia to Houston, TX.

if you put sugar free chocolate syrup no ice as you add the plain seltzer stir rapidly and it's a chocolate egg cream.

What state are you living in? I've just started my keto diet 4 days in and 5 pounds down but I'm afraid to try anything sweet. When did you first try a sweet keto treat or a keto bread after you got started on keto and how did it affect your cravings?

We are in Washington state. When CJ and I started out we both limited our use of keto treats… Neither one of us have missed bread to a great extent. Will do 90 second bread once or twice a year maybe. We have not bought any commercially prepared keto breads that are readily available now. It did not seem to affect weight loss in the beginning… But we still try and manage it now to prevent weight gain. But regardless of our experience, you will have to experiment for yourself, because we have truly found everyone’s experience is unique. Thanks for watching 😊

Sara, I may have missed this in one of your other videos but my question is about your 20+ hour intermittent fasting. I’m trying to do the same but juggling with hours/timing. I really do like to have coffee when I start my day. Because of intermittent fasting I usually don’t get that 1st cup of coffee with collagen until about 11:30 AM. But then that breaks my fast. I try hard to put off eating anything until around 4:30 PM. I’m not sure if you drink coffee or how you manage what you eat/drink and when combined with 22 hours of intermittent fasting. I would like to hear you elaborate on this issue. I’ve tried the perfect keto berries in my coffee but that just doesn’t quite cut it. I really love the collagen with a splash of heavy whipping cream or half-and-half.

Hi Marva! I have found only drinking black liquids or water keeps my insulin stable while I fast. At first I hated it, as I like to drink my coffee with heavy whipping cream, and a bit of natural sweetener. I call it “FuFu” coffee. LOL. Whether I work at night, or during the day, I only drink black coffee or plain club soda outside my eating window. I only drink my fancy coffee when it’s time to break my fast. I hope that answers your question.💗💗💗💗💗

I made the Italian Soda but as soon as I added the heavy cream to my syrup it curdled... I used Torani sugar free as well and I know my cream was not near expiration date.. does this always happen?? It didn't look good but it tasted fine.

It can happen sometimes.....you can blend it up in your blender, before adding ice if it bothers you. Some baristas use half and half to avoid this.😊

I’m sorry Gloria, I don’t understand the question. You can use plain club soda or seltzer if you’re using a syrup that is flavored. I used a flavored seltzer because it’s what I had in hand. Either choice works the same.
