Hi Sandra. You are never boring. You are a beautiful lady. I miss my husband, Pedro. We had three and a half years together from 2001 to 2003, when he died at the end of October. The last thing he said to me that morning was, “how did you sleep, Edna.” He was close to being 91. Then a miracle happened when on Easter Sunday morning I gave my heart to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit came to me; and it has been wonderful to have His presence with me daily. Take Care. 😊

Hello Sandra, Thank you for referencing this passage. 1 Corinthians 7:7-8 I wish that all were as I myself am. But each has his own gift from God, one of one kind and one of another. 8 To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. Paul says some have the gift of singleness and some the gift of marriage. Some people do better as a team, serving God as a couple and a family. Both kinds of people are equally important. ❤❤

I’m a widow of 5 yrs. Have moved and down-sized. Always thought I’d remarry; but have changed my mind. Have been diagnosed with diabetes and endometrial cancer. Went to a grief group right after he passed and the library now has a grief group I plan to try. I found your sight right after my Dave passed.👍🙏🏻

Hello, Sandra. I lost my husband 1 year and a few weeks ago. My heart is still so broken and I’m very lonely. He and I were soul mates married for 46 years. I don’t enjoy being alone at all. My family and I are still sad and “in grief”. I used to watch you when my husband and I were together and occasionally, he’d watch you with me. I remember having so much empathy for you living alone and all you went through with your husband sickness. Steve, my husband, was sick about 1 year and a half before he passed. That was when your channel was named life after 80, I think. Im thankful for the presence of Jesus helping me get through each day alone. I need him every hour. This week, I’m battling a terrible case of Covid. It’s my 4th time to get it but my first time without Steve. So, tangled in the evil sickness of the Covid, I’m dealing with emotional issues, as well. I haven’t seen another person for over a week. That can really get to a person, even though my safe haven is my home. Please help me pray for joy to come to my family and me. Im so happy that you found Bill and such happiness. My husband passed 6 days after yours & to think of all the changes you have gone through! I just balled like a baby again today. I cannot get used to being without my life partner. It took me until the age of 44 to find the love of my life & marry him a lot over 9 years later. Then I list him before we were wed even 13 years. I was a liner & introvert before that & have become that once again.
You are the same person who reached out and took a chance marrying your sweet husband. Only now you are better equipped to go out and see what life has to offer you. He would want you to live your life fully. Sit down and make a plan for the week of things to get you out among people. God bless you, He is for you.💕🥰🙏

Welcome back you guys! It's good to see you and hear your "goings ons". I found your channel right after your husband had passed and the time you went to the cemetery and couldn't find him. You were pretty rattled. I'm so glad you've found peace and happiness 😊 Oh! Ps... I ordered and received the next day the pretty Fall sweater you has on your site. Got the royal blue that has the buttons down one side with the slip and long sleeves. Wow! It is SO SOFT and fits beautifully! Feels like a million bucks for only $24! I'm looking at the other colors now. ❤

I agree…Sundays are always peaceful. After going to church and breakfast I spend the day relaxing. I’ve been a widow for five years and don’t have the desire to remarry. I had a great husband, two children, two grandchildren and I feel complete. My condo isn’t paid for and my car is leased, but I have enough money to enjoy my life and figure my children will get some money from the condo, and I have an investment portfolio as well as a savings account so I’m not fearful about finances. I do realize that a catastrophic illness could take the money I have, but so far I’m healthy and will be 80 years old in December. I had colon cancer five years ago and breast cancer two years ago, but I’m believing the Lord healed me, and I am grateful. I have Christian friends who have been a blessing to me. I have wonderful memories over my lifetime, and I’m satisfied where I’m at. Once in awhile I feel lonely or depressed like during the time of the anniversary of my husband’s death or his birthday, but thankfully that passes. 😊❤
Hello, dear lady! It is good to see you again. It sounds like in spite of the tiredness, you and Mr. Bill had a lovely time in Indiana with friends and family. My sister has been visiting us from NY. We were all making trips having a great time until we all got sick with the worst flu ever. My mom n sister have Covid. My husband has an inner 👂 infection. Plz pray for us. Im sorry about the butcher job they did on Millie. You need to let them know it fell short. ❤❤🐕
Hi Sandra, yes God is amazing, and His love is unconditional. I hope to relocate one day to East TN or KY, never been to either. But it seems that in those states it's not as stormy as it is here in PA in the winter months. I'm 65.5 and am encouraged by your videos. Thank you and God bless you and Mr. Bill. 🙏

Glad you had a good time. I was born and lived on the Southside of Chicago until I moved to Texas in 1985. When I moved back temporarily for 3 yrs back in 2000 because my father was dying of lung cancer. I lived in Oak Forest, Illinois, right by Tinley Park. I have a friend in Tinley Park too

Sandra, you might want to read and study a book by the name of Abide in Christ by Andrew Murray. I am in Chapter 25 towards the end of the book. It's been almost three years since my husband went to heaven. He was a wonderful man. I would like to marry again and have someone to share my life with. My mom just passed in May and I cared for her over five years. I am happy knowing she is now in heaven free from suffering and reunited with my dad. She was 96 years old. I feel God is going to bring someone into my life now that I am free from my responsibilities of caring for mom. God is good and wants to give us the desires of our hearts.❤

Yeah, I know what you mean about choosing marriage or remarrige; I have an older sister, Esther, she never married. She mentioned that she can't stand the thought of smelling mens dirty underwear! Imagine that!! I told her, a wife does not smell her husband's dirty underwear! Nonetheless, she chose the singe life and I always thought, it's her business not anyone else's. NOT a boring video at all. I am happy you took time to visit your relatives and friends. Stay happy, safe, and healthy.
