New Cat showed up to Black Marina and made a statement. My name is Alfred Montaner Host of the Chit Show in Miami. Hats and Merch can be found at www.Luxuryribtenders.Com
Awesome video of manatee. That's incredible. I could never get a good picture. But wow, what a dangerous spot for them to be. And when the signs say: SLOW--MANATEE ZONE, they mean it. Even in North in St John's River in early springtime. When they're rarely there. When there, they mainly stay in the warm springs. But you never know....
I swear 90% of the people with boats in these videos should not be behind the wheel. Don't these people have to have skipper licenses? Any decent skipper worth his salt should be able to doc his boat here by only using throttles. Also, why do crew on these boats wait until the last second to start making ropes and fenders ready for docking. Why do crew assisting with docking always doc and tie up from the stern. ALWAYS tie up the bow first if only one crew.
Morning from South Africa, Alfred. I love watching the boats on your show! I watch old episodes when there is nothing else on... The closest thing we have to Mimi is The Strand... just much lower budget and a fraction of the boats... but it has a similar vibe with a long white beach and all.
@8:38, does that Carrera have a leak? That bilge pump seems to be pumping a lot of water out. I don't think my bilge pump ever kicks on. I have to test it sometimes to be sure it is still working.
Wow some people have no boat handling skill what so ever. They should be able to see the tide is sweeping them down and to their advantage and dock on the other side of the dock.
When we had our Trojan cruiser, we had twin engine I/Os. When one went out it was a bit of a problem getting into the slip at boathouse. When you're accustomed to maneuvering on a dime with 2 throttles. I'm a novice, but how the h*'ll do you sync up 4 outboards? We never see/need more than 2 outboards in upstate NY. We're inland. Lol. So that's why I love to watch these videos. See things I've never experienced.
remember, these miscreants have a camera everywhere they go. then they can gain attention showing it to other miscreants, and put it online for further attention. our generation would get the piss beat out of us for not helping.
How do these people afford these boats?? So many of these large center consoles are $250K-$500K + boats, not to mention the what $1-2K to drive them for the day. Wondering what you guys are doing in FL to make $.
Does not one of these “captains” know how to pin the bow against the dock, take a line from the port or starboard cleat & wrap it around one of the dock poles & then slowly back down in reverse? The boat will then just lay against the dock…
Hey Alfred!! the "KNOT ME III' Captain Should NEVER Operate a Boat!! Worst Boat Driver I have Ever Seen! Let the Wife, Kids or Even a Stranger Take Over!! He is "Fired" Sadd! My 8yr Old Daughter Could Dock a Boat Better!
Dude - You have to turn off your Auto-Focus and learn to Manually focus your camera! You missed a lot of good opportunities because you were waiting for camera to focus on what you wanted to see, and the camera was trying to focus on what you had let gotten in front of the camera (Mangrove Tree branches). At 15:52 it sounded like that boat crashed into other boats but your camera was focused on the leaves you were trying to look past. In photography, if you couldn't see it, you pre-focused your camera on a fixed spotand waited for your subject to show up.. It's just a thought but since all you subjects are across the water from you, You should pre-focus your camera for those distant objects so you will stay in focus no matter what tree branches get in your way.
